ScoopOn Ticket numbers - Post them here after two days of waiting

Hey all,

I have been disappointed by ScoopOn retailers, but have not yet lodged a formal complaint with them. (I have had heaps of happy experiences with ScoopOn as well.)

That being said, it seems like there are people who fall through the cracks with Scoopon, and are asked by Scoopon to post their ticket numbers under various threads which they may or may not ever check again.

If we have one thread just for ticket numbers, maybe there would be a better response from ScoopOn. Worth a try?

They ask that you give them two days to respond, so maybe wait that long before posting here.

  • It's my guess that they aren't purposely ignoring people but that they have a lack of staff to answer the numerous amount of emails. Look at things from their perspective timewise. They get an email, have to look up the user in their database to check their purchase, look at the problem, get in touch with the rep who sold the voucher, rep decides yay or nay to contact business, business has to get back to them with an answer, etc. etc. Now if it's a situation where a customer can't get in touch with a business to book, I don't like the chances of a Scoopon rep getting in contact with them in a reasonable amount of time. Now this is just 1 customer email so imagine that times the amount of emails they get in the day and you are looking at a situation where they are getting overloaded.

    Again, just my hypothesis.

    It's become pretty apparent that COTD and Scoopon are not too fussed with their online criticisms and why would they? The complainers keep buying so why bother.

    It may be a good suggestion. Agree with Neil that COTD are not too fussed. But a wiki or something of sort may be a good pressure point. This coupon industry is at a nascent stage and if they are not held accountable now don't know what the future hold for them. Too many people may not try looking at these issues. On the other hand if the industry picks up its act, many other fence sitters would try and allow the industry to grow.

    What a load of crap! I did respond to your email on the 28 Feb. I have prove of email trails to and from. So try another excuse Scoopon!
