    Hi Aussie Dog Food
How can I get 40% of this 5Kg Bag - Shows me in checkout $50.00
    $50.00 - 40% = $30.00 ???

    • "TOMORROW"

      • Thanks - Pays to read the fine (Large) print …….

  • Normally $60 for dog food? OMG. People pay those prices?

    • +3

And it doesn't even taste like real dogs.

    • I pay $24 for 320 grams of Feline Natural for my cat… this is complemented with raw food of course.

      • @Colombian Is that on special?
        Wonder what caviar costs 😋

        • Yep, on special, it usually costs $35.
No idea, I don't like caviar lol. Give me a piece of red meat instead XD

          • @Colombian: @Colombian
That works out to $75/kilo on special.

            Eg ingredients:
Beef Heart, Hoki, Beef, Beef Kidney, Beef Liver, Beef Blood, Sunflower Oil, Flaxseed Flakes, New Zealand Green Mussels, Dried Kelp

May be a tad overpriced for a mix of mostly heart, kidney, liver and blood

Heck for that price you should be getting prime rib on a silver platter

            • @docians: Yes, cat diet not only consists of muscle meat. Organs are essential for cats too.

Having said this, this is not the main food my cat eats. I prepare his food by myself, Feline Natural is a complement, we leave him a little bit during our work hours. We are planning on doing this until he is a year old. For now he needs to eat as much as he wants.

      @ PJC
It is probably work it out ourselves and improve our math skills week on Ozbargain

Either that or he does not want to tell us what wheat+sorghum+meat products costs per kilo (with a sprinkling of probiotics to make it 'healthy')

      • OP is not taking OzBargain seriously.

So if I pay for something and it gets damaged or doesn't arrive - not your problem? Can't say I would gamble on buying anything with those T&C's.

Poor OP thought he'd sell a few bags here.
    Didn't expect this intense scrutiny

  • I pay similar prices per kilo for my dog food but the ingredients are much better.

For example, one flavour that we got has the following ingredients: Lamb Meal, Kangaroo Meal, Potatoes, Peas, Dried Lamb, Dried Kangaroo, Pea Fiber, Tomato Pomace, Chicken Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Ground Flaxseed, Salmon Oil, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Kale, Broccoli, Spinach, Parsley, Apples, Blueberries, Vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, D3, E), Beta-Carotene, Niacin, d-Calcium, Biotin, Folic Acid, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Natural Prebiotic, Calcium Propionate, Rosemary Extract & Green Tea Extract

Absolutely no grains. I agree with the above. The ingredients are shocking for the price.

    • For example, one flavour that we got has the following ingredients: Lamb Meal, Kangaroo Meal, Potatoes,

random guess: Ivory Coat lamb and kangaroo

      from the website
John began making dry food in his kitchen. As he started experimenting and working on the recipe he noticed the smell in the kennel getting better and better and each dog’s condition improving. One day he took his secret recipe to a University Professor who conducted a series of clinical trials over 12 months. During these trials the vet science team determined that John had made a great discovery. John had invented a pre and probiotic dry dog food that delivered clear benefits to both dog and owner and that could also survive 12 months in the bag without refrigeration.

secret recipe + great discovery= how to sell rubbish food + charge top dollar!
