This isn't a dupe, differences between them:

    • This waives the "sign up" / registration fee, while the other includes it.
    • This deal ends today while the other ends 10 Jan 2019

However just waiting for the Op to update the deal with some sort of offer code or a URL, otherwise you can show this text message to the staff members and use it to negotiate for a gym plan that waives the sign up fee.

    • Thanks Scrimshaw.

I was not provided an offer code or URL. After calling and quoting receiving the text I was emailed a membership application form with the startup fee being marked as zero.

Perhaps I was just lucky or my mobile came up on their system when calling from it.

Agree it is pricey, however after AIA discounts I’m happy to join.

      • which branch?

Iirc, FF changed their management team about 5yrs ago. FF of these days are generally much better than what they were before. That being said, my local FF (a platinum one) isn’t providing the quality of services they are supposed to. Personally, I have to look for a better gym (I do want to rejoin FF though)

Had to Google it, I guess if you consume advertising you have Pizza Huts phone number embedded in your brain from years ago but advertising doesn't affect you?

10% off if you have student concession too

Still not as good as the EOFY deal they had with 6 weeks free, $1 join and 20% off fortnightly fees. Wonder if they will do a similar EOY promotion?

Will they do a credit check before signing me up?

  • Y?

Great deal for those in a mad rush to quickly tick off those 2018 new year resolutions

  • What is their payment method?

Anything along the line of prepay 10 days in advance?

    • First billing payment was recorded as 10 Jan.

Direct debit from bank account or credit card were payment options, with the latter incurring $0.50 fee.

  • Word of warning. If they get your number on their database they will continually send u offers, calls etc even when u say don’t call.
Btw I think the iwatch deal is still running possibly in conjunction with the above deal..but it’s series 3
