I'm a "member" from the recent echo inclusion deal a month ago. I'm not sure where the audible link is meant to go but it seems to be a main landing page. Following the Goodreads link in the post, I then followed their link to amazon.com where the book is for purchase, here I switch the format option (book, kindle edition etc) to Audible which shows as $0 I was able to add it to my cart and check out for $0.

    • if logged in to audible.com the link should take you directly to the book

      • nope. I literally 2 hours ago logged in to do the 'subscription cancel' - take a 3 month discount - option so I'm still logged in.

I was also able to access also do not have subscription. I had to make sure I was logged in to Audible US though. When I clicked the link it took me to the AU site with a ribbon up the top telling me I was redirected based on my location. Did I want to go to audible US instead. Hit the link to change and presto had the ability to add to cart. The cart also had a gold subscription in it, but I simply removed that and was able to get the book for free regardless.

    YMMV.

    • Figured/did like this but still not showing in my Audible app 10 mins later.. Is it for you?

      • Is your audible app set to the correct marketplace

        • No I'm .com.au..

Ahk seems I have to sign out and back in to change marketplace… That's stupid shouldn't that only matter for purchasing?? You'd think be able to see all your library items no matter what marketplace.. Stupid..

          • @deelaroo: It is silly isn't it the marketplace should be set according to your login but I think it's done like that for those that convert their logins from one region to another if a book you purchased isn't available in your new region you can switch your marketplace and still access it.
