  Can anyone with experience with the Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants comment on the scratchiness of the re-sealable Velcro on the sides? Multiple reviewers have commented that they’re really sharp and irritates their baby’s skin.

    I just slide them up and don't use the velcro so I don't have the issue
    Use the normal huggies nappy pants generally but took advantage of the Amazon sale

    the sides of the velcro are not as soft. i’ve never opened the velcro to put it on, but my baby still got rashes wearing the ultimate one. it depends on the kids skin sensitivity i think, i know some kids that are happy to use the ultimate ones..

    My daughter uses them and they seem to be OK.
    The velcro faces up/out so the nappy lining covers it over.
    Even if you make it a "bigger size" and have the velcro exposed; whilst the corners are straight cut (not horribly sharp), the usual white nappy lining is still there and should really be poking at skin.

    Hope this makes sense!

    For my daughter the material near the velcro pulls back while she was wearing it and exposed the sharp corners of the velcro strips which poked into her skin leaving it red and painful. Stop using the ultimate for this reason.

    On another note, am using the normal nappy pants ofĺ babylove and huggies now, and I find the huggies leaked often while the baby love hasn't, though the huggies are softer.

  Also, can OP clarify, the individual links are for the Ultra-Dry nappy pants by the title of the deal mentions Ultimate nappy pants. Two different products.
