Is It Possible to Contact Xbox to Resolve Dispute?

Purchased this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/402951 but never received codes for games.

Accepted advice was that I may need wait a few weeks but this meant I ended up outside the refund window.

There doesn't appear to be email or chat support for Xbox. Eventually ended up with this number 1800 345 741 and managed to get through after many attempts, only to get cut off when the conversation started. Next time I got through the consultant advised that they would send a refund link but no email ever arrived..

Have already wasted way too much time on this and have given up pursuing it further. Thing is, it could be argued that MS took my money, did not deliver as promised and then made it (virtually) impossible to seek assistance. Has anyone else had any luck getting a reasonable response from these guys?

    I'm not understanding the issue. What are you wanting to be refunded? (What makes you think you're entitled to a refund?)

    • I was intending the post to be more about, what do you do when you purchase something that is not delivered as described when the company provides no reasonable way to contact them? No email, no chat, only phone numbers that are unreliable. The result is that you have to be prepared to waste hours of time if you intend to resolve a minor dispute.

    Persistence was the key and try and speak to a supervisor/superior to escalate it. There should be notes already on your profile if you've called a few times. After my ordeal, I won't purchase any deals from Microsoft/Xbox which involve receiving bonuses at a later date. Seek a dispute with your payment provider if you feel you've exhausted all options.
