Got an email from suncorp, they are running special discounts on coles egift card from tomorrow at 10AM. You can buy a $500 coles gift card for $465 rather than usual $475.

*7% off Coles Offer valid for strictly 24 hours from 10am (AEST) 6th December 2018. - $500 Max purchase. Limited to the first 5000 customers.

          Even so there is no record of 1 purchase in ozb and that's why it is a lie. The 7% discount banner was removed before the promotion even started.

      Hahahahaha I got a call earlier this afternoon from a Suncorp rep who was extremely apologetic about the incorrect information they provided me with in the email and they have instead added a Woolworths promotion in replace of the Coles promotion. I was at work and had to keep it brief so I didn't want to accuse them of anything in front of my co-workers.

    You can still kick them where it hurts. $50 cashback to open new eligible account. They'll probably pull this one too.

      They probably canned it due to people buying gift cards

      I'm guessing it's an expensive POS upgrade to stop gift card purchases

    I signed up to a bank account specifically to get the Coles offer. I'll be closing it now.

    I do have access to another similar scheme SmartSpending/MyDiscounts which a number of employers offer. Many of the discounts in there are better than those offered by Suncorp and none are lower, though Coles and Woolies are 5%.

    Got my Woolies one straight away. Prefer Woolies anyway for fuel usage as well
