Best non-OLED then? And I wouldn't call this mid-range either, it's Sony's top-of-the-line LCD model.
This is no mid-range tv. And there are no 75 inch oleds.
According to this website, there is a 77" LG OLED TV? No idea if this model is sold here in Australia though. Will be out of reach for most people???

Thanks! Have been eyeing this for awhile now and missed out on the previous deal. I purchased from the Sony online store as it's also listed for the same price until 11:59pm Dec 5, but I get 2% cashback with Cashrewards, free delivery and accepts AMEX to get the $50 cashback offer for spend of over $300 on the Sony web store (not to mention good points earn!).

I'm waiting for the Boxing day sale! Surely this set will be lower price. The set regularly goes on sale for around this price, so it's not a stretch to go even further down for Boxing Day
I hope it will at least be the same. I visited two JBHifi shops the last couple of days. Both places they advertised the TV higher than whats'on their website. When asking for a deal they said they could make me a good deal at $4600… They appeared as if they had never heard about they had a sale previously…
I wonder if they are not allowed or un-able to sell at a good price between the official sales.
Me too. I’ve done so much research and this is the only tv I want. Will be pouncing on a 75” X900F if it’s around the same price on Boxing Day!
Went into JB in Adelaide yesterday to buy one of these and they were out of stock, and couldn't tell me when they'd have stock. They were hoping by mid next week, but couldn't guarantee a delivery date, and since I wanted it delivered and installed next week (going away after that) I ended up walking away. Oh well, hopefully in the end of year sales.
Pretty disappointing that they'd run this kind of deal without actually ensuring they had plenty of stock on hand for it, though. I assume the deal was driven from Sony's end rather than JB's, but you'd think they'd give them enough notice to get the stock in.

I have up voted this deal, but I am not sure I agree that it is the best 75" TV you can buy. Best "Mid-Range" 75" TV, yes! I am sure there are several OLED TV in the 75" range that is considered "better" quality than this set.
