This is twice as good as the Kleenex Half-Ass Clean Toilet Paper.

This is a Sherty Deal. Quilton King Size are Way Stonger. This stuff is so soft your fingers go right through it. No Deal! Except for Fort Building.

  • No stock anywhere.

    • I picked up the second last pack at Majura Park this afternoon so there still might be some left somewhere

I hate Kleenex… it always pills and leaves bits all over my bits. :/

    • +2

Yep, this TP is not good.

    • Agree… have you found a good alternative?

      • +1

I use Quilton, really like he quality, no pilling. I can usually always find the bug packs pretty cheap :)

  • +5

Once you've tried Costco toilet paper you'll never use this down-sized ripoff toilet paper again. Years of downsizing are only obvious when you compare the size of one of these rolls to a Costco roll, and thats when the lightbulb comes on.. this is how TP used to be! So, (profanity) you Kleenex.

    • +2

Wow, this guy knows toilet paper.

    • +1

all hail to Costco…i has been a fan of Costco toilet paper since 2014.

  • +1

Still looks respectable and not quite the generic sandpaper - good for the visitor toilet.
That way, if you must use the visitor toilet, it's still okay. Save the good stuff for the ensuite.

Looks like this is the cheapest toilet paper it’s ever been, good one OP, upvoted!

    • I think so too but something does not add up when comparing to this

      https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-nsw-metro-glenmore-park/produc…

Coles 2 Ply White Toilet Tissue 18 pack everyday product

      18 pack - $5.50

      Unit Price $0.12 per 100Ea

      11cm x 10cm x 260 sheets

So does this mean the one in the deal has more sheets per roll or less sheets per roll for some reason my brain ain't working as per usual again today.

$5.50 divided by 18 rolls = 30.56 cents per roll so this deal should be cheaper no? but then the $ per 100 sheets is lower for the coles one.. sorry can someone please chime in on this one I feel like I am just not seeing this or something clearly in this one atm. sorry

      • +2

More sheets on the Coles rolls

Rolls Price Sheets Per Roll Price Per Sheet = Price / (Rolls x Sheets)
        Coles Brand 18 $5.50 260 $0.001175
        Woolworths Kleenex 30 $8.00 180 $0.001481
        • So which is better value or cheaper in the long run?

          • @AlienC: Seeing as you need to use so much of the Kleenex, my vote would be for the Coles brand.

          • +2

@AlienC: For what it's worth, Choice rates the Coles brand higher than the Kleenex Complete on nearly all criteria

            Coles: https://www.choice.com.au/products/home-and-living/household…

            Kleenex: https://www.choice.com.au/products/home-and-living/household…

But from what I've read here and on other posts, the toilet paper experience is highly subjective. Probably a PhD thesis in that somewhere.

            • +1

@surethang: Thanks this is perfect and fits well with my usual ordering habits from coles because of the $4 delivery fee for flexible hour options.

I also buy from woolworths and have tried some other toilet paper but honestly could not tell the difference definitely not the increased price benefit from choosing the cheaper one over the more expensive when comparing the two.

Looks like Coles brand still for me at least I know that it will be here as long as Coles supermarkets are still around.

  • +7

Don't buy this unless you want to touch shit every other day 😖

Kleenex suppose to be a quality brand, after using this roles I have changed my opinion.

  • 'other uses' lol

  • Is this 2 or 3 ply

    • 4 ply

  • +3

Woolies Select brand 11cm x 10cm, 3 ply, 190ss. $0.19 / 100SS, I am using it right now. Tough and soft, respectful to your fingers.

    Kleenex 10cm x 10cm, 2ply, 180ss. $0.15 / 100SS. Airy, falls apart, a genuine shitfest.

Not actually a bargain I think.

    • Tough and soft?

      • Yes, no chance of ripping. And soft enough, with adequate traction.

  • +1

Mmm a fair bit of product ANALysis going on here, this is really forcing a rethink. I need to be more in-the-moment during those final stages of my toilet visits so I can work this out. I’m confused and bewildered yet optimistic that something good will come of it.

  • +2

This is one of the worst toilet papers I have used - tears constantly which makes for a very unpleasant experience.

    • +1

      The pain is real

    • +6

Had to click to see who poo poo'd the deal!

    • Yeah would never use Kleenex again, doesnt keep dot and digit separated unless you use far more paper than other brands which negates any savings.

  • +2

26 cents a roll is cheap but I will never use Kleenex again.
The paper is weak and easily tears.

  • +5

It appears that a few people have had 'mishaps' when using this toilet paper.

I've been using it for a fair while now (used to use Quilton) and can't say that I've ever penetrated through the sheets. Surely the people experiencing this problem are using more than one actual sheet to wipe?

Personally I prefer the 'weave' on these sheets, and I feel that I can get a better wipe.

    Just my 2 sheets.

  • +1

hmm.. do we have single sheet users here commenting, or perhaps folders that are casting unwiped faecal matter in the direction of said paper?

I am a proud scruncher and to date my bunghole has after much analysis always preference Kleenex. I went in search of this deal at Woollies yesterday but was bummed out to find that their stock has been excreted from the store.. so i have gone to the dark side (well for my anus anyways) and grabbed Sorbent in this instance yet $3.75 for 10 at 180 x 100 x 105mm

Some of those 'luxury' types / thicker ply brands don't seem to even collect what they are meant to collect [Quilton for one such example] so am expending more energy wiping anyways - and yes they may feel nicer to touch; but they have 1 job - clean up my excrement and if they cant do that well poo to them!

    • +2

I am a folder and have never experienced 'penetration'. I would think there is more risk with you neanderthal scrunchers :)

      • I too fold but experience a penetration.

      • lmao @ neanderthal! but bwahahah nah nah :) having that much scrunched avoids penetration - albeit tend to go through a shitload of paper! :Op

  • store didn't have, was told by staff that not all stores carry advertised stock (southport, qld)

    • I stumbled across this in store in Brisbane. There was a pile in the flexible use section where they currently have the Xmas decorations

    • No stock on shelf or space for 30 roll pack @Garden City Brisbane today. Asked staff - said "mountain" of these out back & brought some out for me.

    • Same experience with the Store i visited @moo182 so I took a TPcheck
