Just bought a $500 egift card for $465. Nice one Suncorp, helps with the Christmas shopping.

    • Is it a Wish card or Woolworths only?

      • I think it is Woolies only but with a family of 5 I will go through this quickly.

        • Thanks!

        • +2

I buy these all the time and use them at BigW

        • +1

          @sodacake01

I think it is Woolies only

Dont think so much. The details are here.

          https://everydaygiftcards.com.au/gift-cards/learn-more/parti…

Dont take it personally. but you are Wrong!

          • @RockyRaccoon: Maybe I'm going blind, but I can't see the details that you're referring to.
I see "Wish egift cards" listed under BigW, but not "Woolworths Store eGift Cards".

These are Woolworths Store eGift cards.
They are different from the Wish cards many of us buy via cashrewards, pricepal, shopback, nrma, …

      • +2

It's actually a WISH gift card

        • I just got mine and you're correct.

  • How can we get this for non suncorp member?

  • +1

do you have to be Suncorp member?

    • yes, please see above comment.

    • If you have an AAMI or Bingle policy, this applies.

      • How do we use bingle to take advantage?

      • +1

How do we use AAMI to take advantage?

        • Login to your AAMI account, there should be a banner or something on the right hand side of the page that says Suncorp rewards.

  • +2

BigW and Caltex Woolworths eGift cards are 7% as well

  • -3

it's woolies not wish card so can't use it for grocery and petrol right

  • +1

So all the Woolworths group cards are individually 7% off, but it doesn't seem they do a normal WISH egiftcard that will work at all vendors, BigW, BWS, Caltex, etc. Is that correct or am I blind?

    • The Woolies card is said to actually be a Wish card.

      • Correct shows up as Wish eGift card in Woolworth money app

        • Has anyone bought a bigw card? Is that also a wish card?

  • How do I get to the page? I'm an AAMI customer.

    • Login to your AAMI account, then on the right there should be a "Suncorp Benefits", click on 'Find out more'.

      • It wasn't there for me my AAMI account has never worked their helpline says my account is corrupted but my policies are fine.

Anyway I managed to download the Suncorp app and login, now I need to wait 24 hours.

  • When I tried to place the order for $500 coles gift card, it says there's a maximum spend limit per day?
I've registered a week ago and the only thing I have bought is a $50 coles gift card yesterday.
    Haven't bought anything today?

    • Can't help. But bought the $500 Woolies for $465 & checked if could buy another - spent maximum daily amount.
Luckily had set up another account last night for Suncorp using family member - bought.

    • Annoying. Bought $500 for $465 and then a $20 and two $5s, seems like $500/day is the cap.

    • +1

Maybe it is a $500 limit per 24 hour period. The $50 coles card might be putting you over the limit. Are you able to purchase a cheaper woolworths gift card?

    • like how the T&Cs refer to "Wish" gift cards

      • From the same T&C's

        “WISH Gift Card” means a
        -WISH Gift Card
        - Woolworths Supermarkets Gift Card
        - BIG W Gift Card
        - Dick Smith Gift Card
        - Caltex Woolworths co-branded Petrol Gift Card - BWS Gift Card
        - Dan Murphy’s Gift Card
        - Thomas Dux Grocer Gift Card
        - Woolworths Liquor Gift Card
        - Masters Home Improvement Gift Card, and
        - Cellarmasters Gift Card

NOTE - Dick Smith and Masters - and this was dated Jan 2018 well past those two companies demise under Woolworths stable

  • Nice, received $500 wish egift card instead.

    • Which card did you order to get this?

      • +3

Woolworths. All the branding was shown as woolies but when I entered the gift card in the woolwoths money app, it showed up as wish.

      • +1

I ordered 1 Caltex Woolworths card and 1 Woolworths card. When I added them to my Woolworths money app, they both show as generic Wish cards, i.e. there is no label showing ‘Caltex’ or ‘Woolworths’ and they look just the same as the Wish cards I’ve previously bought through Cashrewards. Not sure if this is just a glitch or inability of the Woolworths Money app to display the actual types of cards they are, so proceed with purchase at your own risk.

        • +1

They are generic wish cards as far as I can see

        • I bought a Caltex Woolworths one before and was able to use at Woolies.

    • Still processing mine "will take up to 24 hours to update". So speed of processing depends on payment used

      • +1

My Wish (card) has been granted😀

  • Looks like new members need to wait for 24 hours before you can purchase anything

    • joined 6pm yest, got access 9am today.

      • +1

        joined? how? new bank account?

        • +1

add my existing GIO CTPs and CIL Insurance

      • Edit: Question answered

  • +1

Unfortunately Woolies doesn’t allow buying another gift card with eGift card

  • got one, was instant inside app, thx.

  • +3

FYI I was able to subsequently purchase $35 (1x$25 and 2x$5) worth of Woolworths cards after buying the $500 one, so it may be a $500 limit on your actual spend and not the card’s face value.

  • The Caltex Woolworths cards are actually Wish gift cards - I usually buy this when CashRewards Wish Giftcards denies my transaction.

    • the the caltex one, the big w, both can be used at most of woolworths groups?

  • -1

I suppose this is not accessible with one of Suncorp's subsidiaries?

    • I can access it from AAMI insurance account.

    • Really, I'm with GIO and I can't find the link.

    • Aah, I see now. Thanks for that.

  • what's the daily and monthly spend limit there for suncorp benefits?
Per account or per gift card?

I have only purchased a $50 coles egift card since the account registered, nothing else, not today.
And it won't let me purchase the coles $500 egift card anymore, saying max daily limit exceed.

    • 'Aboutconfig',try in $100 lots.

  • +3

    when does this finish?

    • Desktop site says:

*7% off Woolworths Offer valid for strictly 24 hours from 10am (AEST) 6th December 2018. - $500 Max purchase. Limited to the first 5000 customers.

Pre-purchase your Digital eGift Card to receive your discount. Digital eGift Cards will be sent to you by email and available in your eWallet with instructions on how to redeem. Although we make best efforts for instant delivery, occasionally this may take up to 72 hours. Upon receiving your eGift Cards there may be a delay of up to 1 hour before the eGift Cards can be redeemed.

  • Cant buy using Amex. Have to use Visa/Mastercard.

  • There is a limit of $500 per day

  • How does the Caltex one work? … is there a barcode to scan at the register or do you have to enter an 18 digit number and PIN number?

    • All the Woolworths group egift cards are seriously irritating. Unlike Coles egift cards, they do not have a barcode. There are 19 numbers that have to be entered, some operators try to get you to do it, and then a pin. The plastic giftcards do have a barcode.

      • +2

In person you only need to input the last 10 digits. Online 19.

        • Thanks for the confirmation!

        • Yes you are correct, still inferior to having a bar code, especially when there is a queue of people behind you.

          • +2

@Yola: Agree … I'm usually the one behind whinging about the crazy person in front of me wasting everyones time punching in numbers … oh well ….. looks like that will be me soon

            • @jazzymc: I get the operator to do it, tell them I do not have my reading glasses. I pick teenagers who are expert texters, takes them no time.

      • Yes very confusing … there is a shorter number, but the instructions say:

Enter Online eGift Card number at checkout, followed by your PIN.

You don't have to spend it all at once, left over funds will remain available on your eGift Card for use prior to expiry.

Enter In-store eGift Card number at checkout followed by your PIN.

So I wonder which you need to enter? The 19 digit Online number or 10 In-Store number ?

        • +1

Yes the operators do get confused also. But it does say in store number, which is 10 digits. I think they do use the shorter one.

        • +2

My tip is always immediately import into the Woolworths Money app (using the long number and pin)

The app lays it out more clearly when trying to figure it out in store, and shows live balances.

Suncorp should really build a feature to auto-import the egift card into the Woolworths Money app, like they do in the Cashrewards gift card emails

Registered this morning and access was given just now (kept on trying, finally worked), bought my $500 daily allocation limit Woolies eCards.

DIRECT SUNCORP REWARDS DESKTOP LINK (if you don't want to use the app) - https://online.suncorp.com.au/onesuncorp

    • Where to click on the desktop website to get to reward?

      • How to get to SUNCORP BENEFITS on desktop:

        Log in to desktop site.
On right under SUNCORP BENEFITS promotion, click Find out more

        Next screen: SUNCORP BENEFITS
Click on top right to set up payment
Click on menu top left & select eCards

        • Just tried the above - doesn't seem to work anymore, as it looks like they got rid of that banner (at least for me). On the right as soon as I login, I get Combine & save for home loans, home insurance etc, Find out more.

EDIT: After adding my product via the app, the Suncorp Benefits banner appeared.

        • Yes - can't access SUNCORP BENEFITS unless you have REGISTERED. So link is only available to registered users.
After logging in first time, you need to add your Suncorp product or account.

As registration of your Suncorp product or account is requirement to access Suncorp Benefits I assumed that would be understood. (I added product via website long ago.) Without that, you cannot access these offers.

I only accessed through the website as was managing family accounts - easier to log in & out of accounts that way.

          • @INFIDEL: To register it wants a Suncorp insurance policy number, not a bank account number.

        • Easier is just go to https://benefits.suncorp.com.au/ecards
Will ask you to log in, done.

    • -1

There is no link on the website currently. They are making you use the App only.

      • Rubbish - see above.

        • I couldn't register, unless I went via the app. Eventually my login details then worked on the above link.

          • @BlueMM: Necessary to REGISTER for Suncorp Benefits before can access. Link is only available after registering.
I added my Suncorp product via the website a while ago. Can do via app - but app has little benefit over site.
