  • Is this the usual price? If not, what's the usual price?

I think the usual price is $5.99 or $6.99
I bought lots for the wife’s 40th as it was cheaper to buy than hire
They are surprisingly good given the cheap price of about $1 a glass normally. If they are the same as then the red and white variety are almost identical so hardly worth separating those but they also used to have champagne glasses too.
We now use them around the pool so don’t care if they get broken

      • What a funny world we live in, that glasses are disposable items and it's cheaper to buy than rent. The melting point is about 1500C versus hot water to wash. Weird.

  • What is the normal price?

  • not as nice as the https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/40137812/ which as only a small amount more expensive (like end up $1 per glass).

I buy 24 at a time and store them waiting for the bride to smash them in the dishwasher …

  • These are rubbish.

        • Is that the normal price, or is it on special? (He asks, tongue firmly in cheek)

@CamM: Normal price; sale price would be I think $70 from memory.

Source: ex-DJs staff; used to sell them

      • Most Aldi's have still got stock of the wine glasses they had in the special buys a few weeks ago for $11. They should come down a bit soon when they start discounting to clear them. IMO, they're quite good for their price

        • They're great. When I was putting one in the cupboard I accidentally smashed it into the edge of the shelf. It made a loud ring but no crack. They look good too.
