Best Foreign Currency Rate in Brisbane

I need to exchange A$500 - A$1000 to KRW (South Korean Won). I usually just walk from one money changer in the city to another and compare their rates, go with the best one. And I know I don't exchange much.

But I am wondering if there is a better way to get foreign currency … like a money changer that consistently gives better rate … or anything like TransferWise but for money changer. Thanks for the info.

    Take AUD cash and change to KRW at a money changer in Korea - you will about 4% better on the exchange rate

      That's what I am going to do. But I need that amount on hands just in case.

    You "need" a thousand bucks on hand "just in case" between the time you land and the time you get to a money changer? Wow!

      More on the A$500 side :-) And I don't know what to expect in term of when I will see Citibank ATM or ATM that doesn't incur any fees.
