    Free Domain name when you buy a hosting package isn't really a "freebie", because a purchase is required.

    Over a live-chat with a store-rep, i can confirm this is US-based hosting with their technical support team/company(?) in Australia.

    Might be a tad of a misleading with the statement, "Syed Hosting is an Australian Based Website Designing, Web Hosting…." in their about page. But the price seems fair, imo.

    It is an Australian based as it is owned and run by Australian. We have no branch outside Australia.
    it is not misleading statement as we have not said that our servers are based in Australia.

          When referring to where it is based, i believe it refers to the location of the actual rack/servers. The more appropriate way to describe the business is Australian-owned, US-based hosting. Correct me, if i'm wrong.

    I already have a domain and hosting with another company but both hosting and domain registration renewals are due in 2 months time. If I want to transfer the same domain name, what should I do? Haven't done that before, as I was just renewing with the same company..

      If your domain expired with your old Registrar, and you renewed it with them, then do not Transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiry date since it will not add 1 more year to your domain name, and you will lose out on the Renewal fees paid to the older Registrar.

      ICANN & Registry regulations prohibit the transfer of domain names that have been registered or previously transferred within the last 60 Days. Please wait for 60 days from the date of registration or previous transfer before applying for a transfer of such domain names.

      Actually it's pretty common for web hosts to offer "unlimited" space and bandwidth.

      They usually just have a fair use policy hidden somewhere. Besides even if it's unlimited, how much can you actually use if you're not hosting illegal files/downloads?

        Unlimited disk space/BW are usually only found in US-based hosts. I doubt you can find any Australian-based servers with unlimited bandwidth, its a lot more expensive here.
