  Of course they would refuse, you're talking about a major brick and mortar retailer against an online retailer that pretty much has no buyers, no salesman, no storeman (except warehouse guys) and especially no brick and mortar store. That's why Kogan is cheaper.

      You don't know how the chain works now do ya? People like yourself all day just comes into the shops and ask for discount this discount that, "what's your best price?" or worst yet,"can you do cost price for me?" without consideration for the people who work behind it.

        Err I dont bother to go to store if I know I can have the item delivered to home next day using Amazon time. My time and hourly rate is worth much more than going to store and haggle leave alone parking and be stuck in traffic. Why would you buy this item from HN and not from Kogan or Amazon is beyond me unless you are a socialist of course. I understand underpaid HN staff if you are one and have to live on commissions but it's probably better to

        Harvey Normal advertises that they will price match. It's not some unreasonable expectation it's what they claim they do.
