First time poster.

JB HiFi is offering the Hyper X Stinger Cloud Stinger for $59. And if you throw in $19 more, you can get Fallout 76 for either the PS$ or Xbox One.

I have purchase the headset when there was a deal earlier, so my 0.01 worth (Becuz this is OZBARGAIN!)

Thumbs up
- Over the ears (so good sound isolation, so you can pretend not to hear your kids crying, the smoke alarm blaring etc)
- lightweight (Your neck has enough of a job keeping the brain and assorted parts supported, don't give it more work)
- Mic is "push to talk" as in if bring the mic down, it activates chat, flip it up and it deactivates (Cannot comment on Mic quality as the games I play, nobody chats!)

Thumbs down
- Cord is not braided
- No cord saver (that weird loop thing that saves your cord when you step on it)

Please note I have not personally played Fallout 76 and so am not commenting on it. I am focusing on the headset which is what the deal is about.

    just think of it as buying fo76 for the release price of $78 and then having them subsidize a hyper x headset for you

    I'd forget about the MSI. Decide between Stinger or HS60. Maybe stinger but idk.

        All hyperx products seem to have a really good reputation so while I have not tried the stingers myself I have heard people call them great budget headphones so gl.

          @Ostrk: spent the last 15 mins on youtube for its review, pretty good i must say. ideal for my use case as an entry headset till i upgrade. also get to get the ps4 fo76!

          ~~ oh a plus is the addon for fo76 is till jan 7 so plenty of time to see if there are any xmas/ boxing day sales

            @LurvinOZB: I was tempted to get this (was even thinking about posting it), but then I saw this:

            I went for Corsair HS60 because of the virtual 7.1 USB dongle. Not sure how I managed to resist this one when it was $40. Couldn't get the $10 voucher from adding a digital receipt to my account (long story) and even if I had one, it will still be $49.

              Saw that USB add-on but a few YouTube reviews didn't give that 7.1 much air time.

              So if it was $40 earlier, then I guess the game is $30+ then.

              Am going to hold off till after boxing day to see if Amazon is coming up with something nicer.

                @LurvinOZB: Is there a store that I can try both? Would like to try both.
                HS60 - USB add-on, honestly I wouldn't expect much from the virtual 7.1 (esp. given the price point). Need proper speaker setup for 7.1. It could be handy for me because my secondary PC's front audio plugs are noisy (so the USB dongle could help). My newer PCs/laptops don't have this issue.

                Cloud Stinger was $40 earlier and OP bought it at that price.

  Just checked JBs page - they're dumping F76 for $19 with pretty much all their gaming headsets $49 and up…
