Ikea Oftast is very similar to corelle. I think it was 60c each plate. We bought them for a party for 100 people. Very good quality.
Gosh why so cheap?
We have some of both brands. The Ikea plates are very easy to chip around the rims.
They had plastic plates for $6. That is a deal. This is not a deal.

Yeah that sale has been marked as expired for some reason.
On a completely unrelated note, I purchased two of these sets last time. Unfortunately my additional order of 8 noodle bowls was one short (not enough stock at local Woolies) and the bread and butter plates are tiny (more like saucers).
So I ordered the missing noodle bowl and 8 luncheon plates direct from Corelle.
Ended up costing just as much as the two sets on sale 0_o
