      • +2

i do, in fact I have ozbargain opened up in one of my tab at all time lol was thinking could get it for xmas time with friends and family and thought what are the chances of it reduce before xmas (ie only few days left) but I guess I'll learn for next time haha

  • Dam bought the hardcopy for 47 a few weeks back, so this is a good deal.

happy to be corrected, but I think the hard copy for this game is generally more expensive than the digital anyway. Good deal regardless tho.

      • The hard copy has the expansion packs.

  • I wonder if there's a full list of discounted e-shop games like that last deal had.

  • Thanks OP.

Get a few more $$ off on boxing day when JB have eshop cards at 10% off

    • Is this in their catalogue?

      • +2

It's on backpage of next weeks catalogue which hasn't gone out yet..

        • That is the best discount for eshop? 10% or 15?

          • @overlook: Best I've had before was 20% off at EB, but it doesn't happen often.

          • @overlook: EB and Woolworths have both had 15% off in the past. Source: I have $200 in eShop credit with four more $60 vouchers on standby.

            • @Alphaeus: I'm down to like 10 bucks in eshop I need more credit

    • Can you buy Nintendo cards at JB with JB cards?
      (I have a JB card from a promo I need to spend…)

Some on the Whirlpool Switch thread said you can at JB.

for real, I got my Switch on Black Friday so I've got Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart as well as Smash to play…

just trying to sneak an hour or two in here and there and I'm definitely not disappointed. Must be in the running for GOAT console IMO.

  • Cool, forgot about this game.

As someone who has tried this on both Xbox and switch I would highly recommend the Xbox version over switch. In my experience on switch there is noticeable input lag, much longer loading screens, and the buttons are mapped differently (which is an issue if you have developed muscle memory in overcooked 1 on Xbox/PS4). Also no achievements/trophies if that is your thing. I originally purchased on switch but traded it over. Great game though.

    • I agree with you, I used to play it on ps4 and thought about it for so long before I bought it on Switch, because it's just so much more convenient. The input lag or whatever it is was quite noticeable on the first one on Switch (played on friends Switch), but the 2nd one seems to be okay? but I'm not 100% sure if it has improved or because I haven't played it on PS4 for a while so couldn't tell.

      • There’s a lot of chat on reddit about the input lag. Definitely still present in 2 in my experience. Such a shame because the switch is an ideal system for it. Also a shame that the loading times are so much worse (Sucks when you have to restart levels). My gf and I were really struggling to consistently get 3 stars on switch but as soon as we went to Xbox, got them almost always first or second go.

  • Don't forget to update your game when you receive the game. New Christmas content, 1-3 was a pain to 4 stars.

  • Addicting game. 3 players in xbox though my youngest can join but she just keeps blocking our way lol.
