The Auto Reel smoothly and easily unwinds the hose enabling you to stop at any point to water. The reel’s mechanism automatically locks so that you don’t have to hold the hose taught. To unwind more hose, simply pull the hose and the mechanism will unlock allowing you to easily water various parts of your garden.       Are you serious? Yes there is a big difference between in features and longevity. This is being discounted for a reason.

      I suppose you don't like all the choices in car manufacturers either. And you must freak out at the supermarket with all the choice.

          It's Hills, they no longer make anything themselves and have substandard factories make rubbish in China. Pretty much everything they make now is utter crap from pressure sprayers to spray bottles to hoses. It's a real shame that short term profit was allowed to destroy a brand like Hills.

          If you're after a hose reel like this go for one of the established players with a long history making quality products like HozeLock.

        Can't comment on Hozelock, but my hoselink is great, good build quality, easy to install. Good service from them also.

        HozeLock are a UK company been around for a long time and manufacture in the UK. IMO HozeLock are better, they sell a lot more and have a larger range. Hoselink make most of theirs overseas including China.
