Cygnett MagMount Qi 10W Wireless Desk Charger $27.30 (Was $59.95) @ The Good Guys

60

For those after a last minute gift idea. I was in the market for one of these as a present and was willing to shell out up to $100 for one. I was wrapped when I saw these. They’re selling for up to $59 in some places.

Note, these are not Qi certified, hence why the price is lower than other brands.

If you were to spend $100 on a wireless charger, probably get an active-fan one from a really good brand, like Belkin, Mophie, Samsung or Sony

It’s literally got Qi in the product name, but it’s not Qi certified?
I’m so bloody confused by all this wireless charging bullshit.
And “magmount”?! How are magnets or mounting involved?

Maybe in 2020 I’ll finally have enough confidence to buy a wireless charger.

  • I bought 3 from ikea ( ikea brand), work perfectly with my iPhone X.

  • how long does it take to charge an iPhone from 0 to full on 10W?

  • Anyone know if thicker cases create issues for this model? I've had mixed results on wireless charging…

  • Do not recommend this brand - Bought a Cygnett Qi charger from officeworks and it overheated/died within 2 weeks. No refund provided, only warranty service with massive mess around. Save your money!

  • Bought one of these from HN today and they price matched this deal. Will see how well it performs on the 25th.

  • No charger, so it’s a fake 10w
