expired PlayStation 4 1TB Slim + Red Dead Redemption II + Bonus 2nd DualShock Control - $369 @ Harvey Norman

560

Pretty good price for a 1TB slim, especially if you were going to buy RDR2 and an extra controller anyway. The thing is that it only shows up as a bonus controller in the thumbnail of the graphic of the bundle. If you do a "PS4 Slim" search from their main page and then select on the bundle that shows RDR2 with 2 controllers then there's no mention of the extra controller

Update: Looks like they have removed this from the site now

I hope there are cheaper options available tomorrow. I've been hoping for a ps4 below $250.

    •

I think there will be a sub $250 500GB, but factor off the price of what RDR2 and an extra dualshock controller currently costs. If you are going to buy those two items anyway then you're easily into the sub $250 for the price of this console with 1TB. RDR2 isn't going to see any significant boxing day reduction I think.

Not sure if you can get a second controller for less the $50?

I'm looking for the ps4 pro on sale!

PS4 pro is on backorder until late January or later. National shortage for most big retailers.

Employee of one of these big retailers here!

  •

And $50 Amex cash back. Nice.

  •

Cmon Harvey. PlayStation 4 Pro already. Sub $400.

  •

Anywhere at $400 for a PS4 pro would be great for me. :)

None available in Brisbane area. would have to have it delivered for $7.95.

Can I trade in the bonus controller?

Did you really expect Harvey Norman to do a good deal for customers??

The only deal he does is to benefit himself and no one else. The bully of the Australian retail world.

The number of small electrical retailers he sent to the wall isn’t funny. So now he’s one of the biggest retailers in Australia and can’t handle the changing face of retail (online) he engages tactics that benefit the minority and disadvantage the majoirity.

Much like the Grinch that stole Christmas.

    Was it a pricing error?

    •

We'll probably never know. I do wonder if anyone made an online purchase tho. It was showing as not available in stock for every store close to Brisbane.

Strangely, when you search for PS4 slim it says 4 gaming consoles in the left side bar but only displays 3 on page. If you inspect the HTML of the page you can still see the original link of the bundle but they have hidden it. Maybe it will be back?

Anybody know the reason why it was removed from their website? I was trying to order one for c&c but system shown not available in any of the stores around my place. Was gonna wait to order it tomorrow as it was supposed to be a boxing day sale?

  •

Does anyone know of any pro deals for tomorrow?

    •

Not any good Pro deals on any of the department sites. JB HiFi have removed their Pro listing. Someone above said that there is a national shortage of supply.

(Soup Nazi Accent) - No Pro for you!

      •

Yea I assume it’s the new 7200 model release trying to get rid of old stock first before they release 7200 as the standard. So they can’t put something on sale with a shortage of stock.

  •

They probably posted it too early which could be why it was removed

Just asked about this deal instore and the sales guy said it was a online only deal for yesterday. I'm a little pissed that there was no mention of it being online only or for yesterday only.

    •

      They fooled everyone!

    •

@Trip Thanks for the follow-up. Yeah I probably would have got it also if it was labelled as online only. Harvey's in Garden City were completely out of stock for both slim and pro at opening this morning. JB and EB also wouldn't price match Big W's $259, which is also out of stock in this state. Looks like Amazon is the go.

    •

Wow that’s how HN made their Boxing Day promotion by fooling everyone…

I purchased this bundle on Christmas Eve as it was on their website and I had been waiting for something decent to use my Amex deal on. I spoke to the live chat operator to double check they had stock, and they did, as all the click and collect stores in Adelaide showed none.

Almost 2 weeks later and still waiting, spoke to the online chat again, no stock now apparently with an unknown ETA.

Has anyone got this delivered (was free with shipster) that bought it yet?
