  • Pretty sure I got this a few months ago. using it to drive a pair of Monitor Audio speakers and some QAcoustics surrounds with sub, pretty nice unit.

Note, the 'Chromecast built in' feature is AUDIO ONLY. I plugged another Chromecast into the back (HDMI) and use it that way.

Bluetooth is also a little sensitive, if you have more than one source that's paired, has bluetooth on then it won't connect to either. You will have to turn them all off except for the one you want to connect before it successfully connects.

  • +1

I got this AV Amp when Jbhifi was doing the clearance on this model 3 months ago for $380 (last display model). I've been pretty happy with them.
Using it to drive 5.1 Yamaha Ns555 speakers pack. It gets really loud.
Bluetooth audio streaming from my Android phone gets choppy after about 30-60mins and audio comes on and out. I'm not sure if this is the fault. This doesn't happen when I stream Bluetooth audio in my car so it's not the phone.

    • What a great grab!.
I am always 'dropping into' JB etc. hoping to find =d a good deal, few months ago I saw a subwoofer for less than half price around $600$(bose…?), anyway, I didn't need one.I now do since my Klipsch KSW12 packed it in.
I bit the bullet and bought (https://www.videopro.com.au/p-2664-velodyne-impact-imp12bemk…), for roughly the same.

      • It was a great deal indeed. I don't usually buy display stock but it wasn't hooked up to any speakers to apart from some scratches I doubt it has been hammered driving speakers.

So far I'm really happy with this Pioneer VSX-932 and the Yamaha Ns555 speakers pack.

I just found out by playing around I was supposed to set the Yamaha SW-300 sub settings to reverb. I had it on normal settings and the base sounded abit odd at certain low frequency and sounded rattling.
Hdmi arc from my Samsung 75" NU8000 to this Pioneer AV Amp is unstable. Every few days it would unlink.

  • How does this compare with Yamaha/Sony for around the <$700 mark?
