Second this re stock levels, I do like DigiDirect but this is one of their biggest flaws ie selling things not necessarily in stock. I purchased a frikkin 86mm filter, it's been a month and still no news, they mentioned nothing when i went through the purchase process. It's just a filter, something easily available on ebay (which is where I'll go from now on)
If jb hifi agrees to price match it, the price can certainly go lower.

Not saying it's not a good deal, just not the best deal. Which is what negs are for, no? Happy to admit if I misunderstand the community culture around negs.
They also went not too long ago for $2471 via No Frills Cameras on eBay through another 20% off code.
Why not post the link to the $1.6 cheaper one as you did (or as a deal) instead of negging the post? Do people think they get some kind of a prize if they neg posts for insane reasons?

For photography this one is actually better for 99.99% of the people. If you're a pixel counting labrat, go nuts. I have both and believe me when I say I use this more.

For video the R is slightly better
sony online price is $3099 (Only highpoint physical store in melbourne right?). Cashrewards 6% makes it $2913.06, less the $50 AMEX credit and the $200 Cashback is $2663.06. Am i missing something?

I had to go to 2 jb hi-fi stores. First one said there would be no voucher if price matched, maybe they didnt know how it works.
Second store (melb central) said they match and i would have the voucher. The voucher is printed in the receipt when you buy, so all good.
I also did this yesterday and forgot to post back. Also got a $200 jb gift card which I used today towards my new lens :) (price matched the lenses too, of course ;))

Nice! Such a nice camera (I have two since April and finally have made the switch to use them for paid work - wish I had done so sooner).
I'd definitely call digiDIRECT to secure stock because theyr'e known to sell things not in their actual inventory and make you wait weeks/months ;)
