There's already 30,135 likes on the site. Dun think 5000 free will be enough hehehe

Basically a link is generated once you click on "Like"

Not sure if it is going to work the same for everyone… I assume it should since that link is on the same topic

Anyway, this page will appear with their http://i56.tinypic.com/2mpxzsw.jpg Code: 5KAU12

Then just place your order at http://www.clearlycontacts.com.au/ using that code and the glasses will be free

Postage is $15.95 for FedEx Courier or $12.95 for Australia Post

By the way, code does not apply for designer brand spectacle frame

    April 12th Code is: 5KAU12

The tab is blank for me :(

BTW, do we need to pay postage fees? How much?
Can we pickup from the shop?

    •

Postage is $15.95 for FedEx Courier or $12.95 for Australia Post

      •

Plus $8 handling fee & insurance

      •

        Insurance is + $8

  •

It's online only, the deal includes free frames and 1.5 index lenses. There are shipping and handling fees around $15.00. Any upgrades are extra.

  •

what's an SPH for non-prescription by the way?

  •

SPH means sphere unless it's under the cylinder or axis then it means "0.00" or "none"

  •

    $9.25 for Handling & Insurance?
my total is Total: $25.20 :(

    •

The Handling and Insurance fee is dependent on the frame you chose.

The most expensive frame, the higher the insurance.

I just tried ordering 2 frames of different values and the insurance was $11+

I removed the more expensive frame, leaving only the cheaper $78 frame and the insurance was $4+

Got a pair for $13 from Googles4u not long ago including postage.

  •

Also not available if you've participated in one of their "free" promos before :-(

    •

Yes that's right. If you have gotten the free glasses in the past like me, it will still process your order however I read in the T&C that your order will be cancelled if your order doesn't meet the T&C.

      •

However, its still worth a try because the order might slip through. I have gotten "free" glasses since two years back. Out of the 6 promotion i participated in, i got two of my order cancelled. The other four slip through somehow..

Hey Marcy, why did shipping go up from $9.95 last week to $12.95 this week?

    •

i noticed that too. shipping is not the only upgrade which was 'upgraded' transition lens used to be $99.95 just 2 weeks ago. it now starts from $119.95. without the 'free' offer, prices of some of the frames which I'd shortlisted a few weeks ago, had gone up by $10-$20.

  •

Note good deal as an extra pair, but don't expect them to arrive in a hurry. Ordered mine (full price) mid-march, still yet to arrive.

  •

I ordered from the initial freebie day about 29th of March and although the estimated delivery was 6th of April, I have not yet received anything. I thought they'd be quite busy with the promotion, so I thought I would wait. Then I called them today to check on them but the 1800 number on their site is dis-engaged. Saying something about being out of business hours.

    Edit:
Ok.. my bad. They have a quite an odd contact hours :)

    12am - 3pm and 10pm to 12am.

  •

    I beat you hehe

    It's all good!

  •

The giveaway has been extended for another day!

  •

I ordered mine last Tuesday and received today. They are great and only $16 delivered. Like others I got hard case, softcase/cloth, cleaning cloth and keychain philips/flat head screwdriver. All in a protective thick cardboard box.

    Great service Marcy.

I wish I got a pair last week for my mum, shipping is now $3 more

  •

It took a bit over a week for my pair to arrive. I was REALLY impressed with the presentation and professionalism displayed. Not sure if the prescription is quite right, but that may be my own (or my optometrists) fault. Thanks for the great deal!

  •

order mine under a different promotion on the 20 March. 1 month later, I'm still waiting for it to arrive, despite 3 calls and 2 emails to the clearly contacts service centre!
