  Really love to grab a TCL, but I've been reading their firmware is notorious for malfunctioning. What ashame.

  I bought a 65x4us and just updated the firmware to TCLs oreo (european firmware). Its faster gets rid of the tcl bloatware. If not rumor has it that they will release TCL australian oreo update in mid Jan. As far as updating the firmware might void the warranty in some way but its easy to factory reset it back to default if its gotta go in for something.

  My brother has a 65" TCL and the pixels look shocking on it, not sure if the quality has improved or not

  I have a cheapish sony 65" that completely makes the TCL look cheap and nasty
