[Unobtainable Deal] DJI Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo - $1,349.10 Delivered @ UAV Wholesale Drones eBay

Moved to Forum: Original Link

PLEASE READ - IT HAS BEEN POINTED OUT THAT THIS LINK IS LOOKING DODGY - whilst clicking on the deal brings up the fly more combo in the title, I can confirm that looking at my order, the title of what I have purchased HAS CHANGED from “DJI Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo Bundle - Grey“ to “DJI MAVIC PRO PLATINUM 4K DRONE AUSTRALIAN STOCK“

  • I have screenshots of “Thank You for Your Purchase” above both of the eBay items.

I am trying to contact the store now to clarify things. I recommend holding off on Purchasing for now.
——————————————————

Not a bad deal considering this retails for $1899 at JB usually - JB dropped to $1699 for Boxing Day sales.

  • If you have purchased via this deal - the vendor is happy to refund. Apparently it is an issue on eBay’s end and they have been trying to solve all day. This is not how the fly more combo is usually listed - they are in fact out of stock on the fly more combo.

Very pleasant and easy to resolve.

Thanks to OzTom for picking up the issue and posting!

  • Maximum Control Range: 22966 ft (7000 m)

    WT!!!

Yes, that's about 7km. A bit farther on the new Mavic 2.

Not far enough to get to Gatwick.

      • +1

The Battle of Gatwick has been won.

  • Nice.

WTF! I purchased tello, and found Spark on special price, so I purchased spark.
And after I flying twice, yesterday I saw magic air on special price so I placed another order for Magic air.

And today a new deal again! Only $100+ than air, should I buy it?

    • +6

      Yes.

    • absolutely. no regret.

    • +1

The Mavic Pro is better than the Air and well worth the extra $100, especially since this is the Fly More combo.
But… The Mavic Pro 2 trumps them all (albeit just a little in each aspect). Perhaps look at this if you're the upgrade type of person which it sounds like :)

EDIT 1: I have the Mavic Pro and I'm not upgrading to the Mavic Pro 2. But if I didn't have either, I'd definetly go for the 2.
EDIT 2: I don't think you'll find the Mavic Pro 2 fly more combo anywhere near this price, so perhaps just stick with this :)

Arguable. If you're main usage is image quality, the Air takes that one. For flight time, noise and range however the MPP is a better buy.

Mavic 2 Pro on its own will set you back about $2500, Flymore kit is $649. I've seen deals floating about for $2500 for both but thats about as good as it gets. The Mavic Pro's successor isnt really the Mavic 2 Pro, the Zoom is a closer match and thats much more reasonably priced.

      Buy first, regret later.

        Ouch!

I just bought a Mavic Air using the Pulse 20% off through Allphones for $989 last week so I am not that bummed about missing out on this but if I were still looking this would have been what I bought. What a great deal!

Just curious: What do people buy drones for?

    • So close to pulling the trigger and buying this. Want to test it out on partners parents farm to check on stock etc. Makes it easier on hot days like this and less time consuming. Also fun to fly it around and record videos.

      • Haha that's such a good idea

I bought mine while overseas for the year in Hong kong. Hong Kong laws are very lax and there are amazing hikes.

      • Same in the Philippines, but only in the regional areas. The cities make you go through so much red tape you just give up. The provinces and the islands though, it's fly anytime and anywhere you want. Got some great aerial footage of all the places we went to. Such a whole new and magical experience viewing things from up high.

    • a personal attack was launched at you for asking that question, fyi

  • Keep in mind Mavic Pro 2 is out/coming

    • Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro have been out for months. Flew mine twice yesterday.

This is a good deal for the Platinum model with Fly More combo. Jumping to the Mavic 2 Zoom Fly More kit would cost at least $500 extra.

WARNING: This IS NOT the Fly More Combo. Click on the item, it takes you to the listing of the basic Mavic Pro Platinum. The RRP has always been $1499.

I agree. Looks a bit dodgy. The link says Fly more combo, but in the cart it is normal MAviv Pro Platinum. Also when you click the link in the cart it is the basic Pro Platinum.

    • I think you are correct - this is looking dodgy…

First post here so how should I rectify? Edit the post? Delete the post? Don’t want to stuff anyone over…

      • Mark it as expired. Edit the description to include this new finding.

Thanks OP got my new toy for birthday :) had some extra ebay 100$ vouchers to take it even cheaper by 5%.

    • Sorry mate but please double check your order - when I’ve bought mine from the original link where it says fly more combo, its changed to just the singular drone where the price is no different to rrp.

      • Yeah just saw it's the regular one no fly more combo. Please let me know how you go with their responce. I'll reach out as well.

  • Please read description!!!

Link advertises fly more combo but when purchase is conducted, changes to be just the drone - not the fly more combo!

    • Yep the seller has canceled my order.
