Please Help Me Find a Decent Quality and Price Queen Bed Frame

When it comes to bedding I have very little experience and know how. I'm in the market for.

Size: Queen
Price: The lower the better
Style: Any, need something to get my mattress off the carpet.

Delivery (Brisbane) preferred, as I don't know any strong persons to help me carry the pieces up flights of stairs.

Good reviews on this bed base from Koala (ignoring people with special needs) and they seem to offer effortless returns if not satisfied: Koala Bed Frame. Currently on sale for Boxing Day - $680 instead of $800.

    • It looks nice but the price is quite steep. Does anybody has experience with this bed? Does it creak or become loose and creak with use over time?

      • Just to let you know -
Our timber bed base doesn't creak or become loose over time. Each base comes with a 120-night risk-free trial and a 5-year warranty and is designed to support up to 590kg.
We also offer interest-free finance and free returns in Brisbane.

    MALM at Ikea from $299.

  • Look on gumtree. You will be amazed what bargains and better quality than going to store and buying new.

  • Price: The lower the better

Well, this IKEA queen frame is only $69 - if you don't mind green! :-) But you have to add a slatted bed base, say this LUROY one for $60 - so total $129

Or just slightly more, and looks a lot nicer, the Tarva Bed frame, including LUROY slatted base for $169.

+1 for the Tarva from IKEA. We have a queen for ourselves and single for the kids. Easy to bring home and assemble as well as dissemble when we moved.

I've actually modified it- easy to do since it's only pine- and extended the height to accommodate 52ltr storage boxes.

      • Thank you, is it sturdy?

          Sorry for the late reply.

Yes it is sturdy for us.
