Been a while since I've done a Kindle ebook deal. I'm currently reading the one on the Korean war whilst on a Korean train going home.

These ebooks were free at the time of posting.

  • Thanks OP, those links are all mixed up tho.

    • +3

Yes, just found out. I'll fix it later as I'm about to hop off the train.

      Apologies.

      • +1

No need for the apology! Thanks for the time and effort you have gone to in posting this.

  • I can only see 35 links including the one above 'Go To Deal'.

The Persian Empire is no longer free.

  • Well (profanity) … The Persian Empire got me. Charged $4.20 was bulk buying them and once i realised it's no longer free got charged already

Excellent OP for this new year's resolution:

Tip from an Arnold Schwarzenegger viral motivational speech - replace an hour of something unproductive (eg. Netflix, video games) with an hour of reading history each day.

    • +5

Netflix got history documentaries? Problem solved. You're welcome. :P

    • -5

that's much better than his other lifehack: take roids, become beefcake, get money

      • True. A lot of his tips are shallow nonsense. But this one is a keeper.

      • +5

He was the best at being a beefcake.

He made his first million from real estate.

Then he made very smart decisions in film.

The list goes on. He is a dominant powerhouse in what ever he pursues.

        Credit where credit is due

        • So performance enhancing drugs are fine? It's the destination, not how you get there?

          • @belongsinforums: Why aren’t they?

It doesn’t become an edge when everyone competing is doing it. Nor is it deterred

PEDs don’t magically give you 5x mr universe or 7x mr Olympia. It’s a miniscule part

            He symbolises mastery

            • @stickymoo: Everyone else does it, so it's fine. Wow. Just saying, there's plenty of people who've done amazing things honestly.

              • @belongsinforums: I am still confused as to why you are saying PEDs are bad?

I think you might be confused with what PEDs are.

PEDs covers a wide array of beneficial substances that have proven positive efficacy for a multitude of situations

                • @stickymoo: Probably. I just think that taking steroids to boost muscle growth significantly is cheating. And there's plenty of role models who made their coin with fair methods

  • Thank you!!!

  • Last aus link for ancient civilisation goes to world war 2. Thanks OP for sharing :)

War. What is it good for?

    Free kindle books.

  • +3

Links fixed. Thank you all for your patience.

    • Thank you for taking the time to do all this!

  • Thank you OP!

Thanks chibot. If you want to get these and many more free history reads using 'one-click' then this LINK may be useful.

Bear in mind I stopped counting after the first free 800 books.

    • So many free books 😂

    • I -THINK- this is the equivalent US one-click search to match:

      US site

EDIT: Nope. I hate Amazon's search.

    • Doesn't seem to work for me.

    • Are there really 600 pages of free history boobs there ?? That may be too much of a good thing

      • I don't know, but there are plenty. And that's history alone. There are thousands across all genres.

For instance I believe this one is a parable about D. Trump and V. Putin, with S. Daniels coming in between.

  • Freeeeeeedom!

  • All of the AU links say 'This title is not currently available for purchase' on my mobile at least.

    • Just randomly tested a few and they are still showing as free.

    • I get that if I'm on the AU site as my Kindle account is US. Try the US links and see if that works

  • Sensational effort! Thanks OP. Got me some good reading there. Thanks again.

Thanks OP, this is free as well

      Thank you. Added to OP.

Thanks… but The Persian Empire is expired, it was best seller 😕

    • I thought I already marked it as expired?

  • So much war…

History that we hope will never be repeated.

  • Neil Armstrong

  • Cuba, The Russian Revolution, Vietnam War & Korean War are my favourites. The good guys (The Marxists) beat the wicked capitalists. During the war in Nam, Murica dropped 4 times as many bombs by tonnage as they did during the WW2, and they still lost, because Communists are tougher than capitalist snowflakes.
