Epson WorkForce WF-2750 Multi-Function Printer $98 (& Get $50 Cash Back) Pickup or $7.95 Delivery @ Harvey Norman

1561

This printer was for $178 in HN and $128 in JB HIFI before cash back. Now $98 in Harvey Norman, you can get $50 cash back.

A really good printer for $48 which has separate ink cartridges.

I bought this for $178 during Christmas and just saw this deal.

Cashbacks only apply to purchases from the Harvey Norman Group, incl Domayne and Joyce Mayne.

    • No/low stock in Sydney surrounds. How do you know/find out if/when more stock is expected?

      • Ask in store, i asked what was in the surrounding stores, there was nothing close enough to me so I asked them to order one in at the same price which they were happy to do. ETA 1 week so it should come in over the next few days.

Hard to go back once you have a colour Laser.

I have a Brother HL4150CDN, the quality simply cannot compete, it's not even considered great in laser terms but its bloody cheap to keep running. I pay around $15 a toner cartridge (ebay) for 6000 pages. All the newer Brother printers are around 2500 page toners. My drum is getting towards EOL but man have I punished this thing. Printed hundreds of training manuals and everything with it.

    • For black only laser - Fuji P205B with aftermarket ebay/msy/umart ink <3

    • Naaa the cost kills it, can’t compare

      • $330 in 2011, for a few hundred in toners since, I'd have needed 150 of these inkjets for the same workload. Depends on the requirements.

    • I had a Brother colour laser. The 3rd party toner wasn't too expensive. But then the fuser died which would cost almost as much as a new printer to replace :(

  • I used an older version of this printer. It would jam several times a day and it was very thirsty ink wise. I quickly replaced it with an inexpensive fuji xerox laser and never looked back to inkjet.

    Not worth it right?
    As the ink are expensive?

    Is this same one? https://www.amazon.com/Epson-WF-2750-Wireless-Printer-Replen…

The review is bad, 40% of people gave 1 star.

    • +2

Those reviews are really bad, all seem to along the line of using too much ink and not working properly… I might give this one a miss, thanks for posting that

  • Good price for the printer, but its genuine cartridge is super expensive. Its largest 220XL cartridge can only print ~500 pages and would cost ~$35. For its discontinued model WF3620 with the 252XL cartridge, it can print ~1100 pages with a similar price (~$45).

mine ordered yesterday and now arrived, cant believe im in Australia

    • How many pages can you print on full cartridge?

      • no idea mate, not finish the starter yet

  • +2

Backordered even though I ordered when in stock. Fail

  • I have the WF 2660, I have used the non genuine inks from when the first inks ran out. Other than the odd blocked nozzle the inks ran fine.
I have a few issues where it drops off the network or won't respond, a reboot fixes it. Document feeder jams occasionally, I rarely have jams in the paper tray though.
Wouldn't say it's a great printer but for the price…..
I'm upgrading anyhow as the price is cheap and there are tax benefits to my very small business.

  • Awesome. Thanks OP. I've been looking at getting another printer to turn into a sublimation printer (entry level). This will do nicely.

Inks just arrived, 15.88$ for 10

    • 10 inks for $15.88???
where did you but them from?

      • Amazon. I posted a link earlier. Not available any more

And just got my rebate claim verified, money should be in my bank account within 10 days they say.

Also just scanned and printed about 60 pages on it, so far so good.

    • 60 pages on the orginal ink?

      • Yeah and still got some left I think

  • I had this printer by took it but, not a great product. Hard to use, unreliable and poor software.
I would not recommend. Ended up buying a similar Brother printer, more expensive but much better.

In case anyone is interested in the genuine XL ink set, I managed to get a price match for $75 with this:
    https://www.msy.com.au/viconline/epson-genuine/19216-h-epson…

You'll get additional $20 cash back if you purchase the ink together with the printer.

Picked mine up today, submitted the paperwork.

A few notes on installation. I have Mac and PC. As per previous models the Mac driver support is average.
Couldn't follow the instructions to install for Mac as they said the driver would auto d/l which they didn't.
Downloaded the 1gig recommended driver file from Epson.com and found the correct driver is not included in the package.
Installed with a 2660 driver and it worked fine.

Tried running a firmware update and it failed several times, then in the end succeeded, there is new firmware

    Trying the Windows software now.

Wonder why they provide drivers on CDrom. Half the computers and laptops ship without CDrom now.

Trying Canadian website now, much better
    https://epson.ca/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/WorkForce-Seri…

    *Canadian driver worked well.

  • Does this printer come with USB cable to connect to PC ?

Mine didn't have the USB cable, just a power cable !

Am I missing it from the package or is it a piss poor attempt to save a few dollars on Epson's behalf ?

    • Mine arrived yesterday, and it didn’t have a USB cable either. Luckily I have an old epson printer that I’ll be ditching that has the cable.

  • Just got cashback 50$. All good
