Last Minute Brisbane to Japan Flights?

Hi All,

Anyone smarter than me know of a way I can get my 'R's from Brisvegas to Tokyo on about the 7th Jan to 14th Jan 2019, give or take a day or two? Yep - four days notice so I'm sure I'll have no chance nabbing any affordable flights. So far can't find anything under 3600 bucks return for two ppl. It's to take my 12yo son with me skiing - last minute to join a mate who's already over there. If it helps, I have 57,000 Velocity points, and 122,000 Qantas points burning a hole in my skiing wallet, waiting to be torched..

    flightfox.com is a great website to get professional help. Sometimes they use 'fuel dumping' techniques to bring prices down (not sure if I should let the secret of fuel dumping out here on Ozbargain as it might ruin it lol)

    lol cutting it pretty close. But just think of how good the powder will be.

    Try iwantthatflight.com.au if you haven't already. I found you $1075pp return but keep in mind, what you don't pay in cash, you pay in flight and transit time.

    Also if you can leave and return mid week you have a higher chance of getting a cheaper deal.

    I’d check flying from the Gold Coast with Jetstar and use the qff points
    Direct flights
