I have the 328P6VUBREB. Not very impressed with its performance. It takes forever to wake up and randomly drops connection with my computer via Usb-c. On paper it ticks all the boxes. In reality, it is a love /hate relationship. Much happier with my LG. Neither are perfect with Usb hub performance but LG is better.

    • That's a shame, it was on my shortlist (VA, HDR600). Which LG do you have?

      • I have the lg 38uc99. I never thought I'd use that much screen but it is amazing.
Hoping that some new screens get announced this week at CES

  • cash back off rrp isn’t exciting …cash back of heavily discounted deal is exciting ….

    • well it does say

Philips Monitors Authorised Reseller within Australia only, during the Promotion Period (1st Jan 2019 to 28th Feb 2019).

wonder if MSY is an authorised reseller?

    • Pretty sure it's not just off RRP - I just put those in there to give an idea of price. You can buy it anywhere that qualifies, so someone is selling it cheaper = profit.

    • I got my one from scorptec when it was on sale and have already spent the cashback (it actually started in November) 😁

  • So is VA better than IPS now?

    • It's down to individual preference. Generalising, but VA has better blacks, IPS better colours. VA has higher contrast, IPS better response times. Etc. It's a pity it's so hard to trial monitors to work out which you prefer.

      • Man I thought that VA had better response times.

  • FYI I have BDM4350UC. I can't make it work with my ps4 pro.

  • The 43" BDM4350UC is only $50 cashback, not $100.

    From the T&C's:-

Participating Products for $200 Cash Back per unit: Philips 436M6VBPAB. Participating Products for $100 Cash Back per unit: Philips 328P6VUBREB / 349P7FUBEB / 436M6VBRAB. Participating Products for $50 Cash Back per unit: Philips 288P6LJEB / BDM4350UC.

    • Thanks, fixed.
(I wonder if that changed, pretty sure I triple checked).

      • Yeah may have changed, Scorptec also have the same wrong info on their site.

  • I just paid $836.10 for the Philips 34" 3440 x 1440 349P7FUBEB from an eBay retailer. Add the $100 coupon and that comes down to $736.10 which is exceptional value for a Monitor with this spec WITH USB-C dock (Although the power output is only 60W and Dell Laptops specifically request 65w)

    • Which seller did you bought from? Do you know if any australian retailer will do or if Philips have a specific set of authorized reseller you have to buy from? How's your experience with the monitor?

      • Re-seller was JTC Computers.

        Unsure about retailer limitations.

Experience so far is really good.

      • That's good to hear. I have ordered 1 from Wireless1 in the last ebay plus promo. Paid $760 which is a screaming bargain imo. I called up Philips support and they said as long as the retailer issues invoice with ABN then it's eligible.
