Replacement HEPA filters for Kmart Home and Co vacuums

Does anyone know where I can buy replacement HEPA filters for Kmart's Home and Co brand vacuums? Kmart don't sell replacement filters so I was wondering if they are sold elsewhere.

  • Kmart?

    • Nope, tried that. Which is why i'm asking here.

      • Well the Home and Co brand is only sold by Kmart, so you're best to go to the service counter and ask them.

        • Thanks, do you know if anyone else sells a generic version?

@username500: Is the filter completely useless? Generally with these types of HEPA filters in vacuums, you just take them out and wash them, putting them back in when dry - no need for a replacement (unless they are damaged or something).

            • @resubaehtgnolhcs: Thanks, but that's not what I'm asking. I just want to know if anyone sells replacement filters.

then the answer is no. Its a kmart only brand, so if kmart don't sell them, then no one does unless you know the OEM that makes it.

                • @JimmyF: Thanks, do you know if no one sells them or do you just not know if anyone does?

                    Kmart sells them.

    • Thanks, but that's not the filter.

  • Have you tried literally any vacuum cleaner shop?

    • Literally yes.

      • There's your answer. Why ask here if you've checked literally everywhere

        • In case someone knows something extra I don't, thanks for your contribution.

    • So you literraly haven't searched everywhere. But congrats and happy cleaning ;)

      • "literally"

        • "lIteRALly " lol you can spell but you don't know what it means. Have a good retirement. ;)

    • You're a legend! Many thanks!

  • Cheap appliances aren't designed to be repaired. Finding parts are also difficult. Spend a bit more next time and get something that may be repaired or serviced.

Thanks, this "cheap" ($75) appliance is designed to be repaired as much as the others that cost a bit more.

  • It's a good question username500. I have a Kmart vacuum too and it would be good to have replacement filters (other brands sell replacement HEPA filters so they must wear out even though they are washable).

  • I found the same filter at https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-14v-2-in-1-cordless-stick…

The cleaner looks exactly the same as the Kmart one. I purchased the pack of 3. They arrived and they fit perfectly. I even realised why it is called sponge filter. Realised the sponge from my filter was missing. Might have lost it during first clean but don’t remember seeing it.

  • Thanks OP!
