  Reminds me of On a Cloud and 9web - great prices at first, works as advertised, then due to unfortunate circumstances gets taken over by Ventra IP within 1-2 years (and yes its happened to me twice)..

  Also downunderhost seems to be a relatively new domain so longevity is yet to be proven.

    I was also with OAC (3 VPS services) until Ventra got their greasy mitts on em. After they fudged the migration, they had the audacity to charge $50 per service. I was previously paying $15 for all 3. And before you ask, yes, the hardware config was on par. Needless to say I've found elsewhere because I could not justify their price point.

    I bought in to OVH early when they launched in Sydney because their prices are extremely competitive and thus far very happy with their services.

    Yes for that reason I'd be very cautious of services like this that "reserves the right to change the Terms of Service and all policies at any time without notifying clients." (From their TOS)
