    It's as easy as 1, 2, 3….

    1. Call the bank you want to set up an account with.

    2. Ask them what the requirements are to set up an account.

    3. Give them what they need.

As an Australian company it has to have one resident director. Why can’t that person open the account for you?

Or do you simply mean an Australian bank account for a foreign company?

Welcome to ozbargain.com.au, your leading online resource on international real estate and banking matters.

If you think setting up the bank account is hard then how do you propose to satisfy the licensing and legal requirements to be a real estate agency in Australia :)

I would nearly accuse the wording of OP's post is to sucker someone into PM'ing OP offering to "assist" setting up the bank account / be their representative and cop the fallout from it.

I work as a Banking Agent for international Companies setting up Australian bank accounts. my basic set up fee is US$8,000 - payable by Western Union

A very polite way of asking there. I should help? You should pay me then

    • yes and how can you help?.

      • +1

and how can you pay him?

  • Real estate agents are regulated through state licensing. You need to open both a general and a trust account.

You can only open trust accounts at approved ADIs and you will also be required to apply for a unique id number issued by fair trading after you meet licensing requirements and have been issued with your license.

Might be worthwhile letting you company/boss know to look into above.
