Saw this on pricehipster this morning. Price drop in the Samsung Q6 QLED at David Jones stores. Not as good as previous deals but close enough.
They must be clearing stock on this model.

I wouldn't call this a great price. I walked into HN 3 weeks ago and got it for $1350 just by asking. I would wait until its under $1300 if looking for a bargain.

hows qled compared to oled?
OLEDs generally have better image quality(darker blacks and better contrast) but are usually more expensive. I've got this TV though and it runs really well- no complaints.
Also LED or QLED have brighter display compare with OLED

How does it compared to IPS tv's?
Generally, IPS has better viewing angles, is usually the way to go if your living room or where you are suing it is a spread out area. VA gives better contrast and deeper blacks, and if you are seated in front of where the TV is, is generally the better option.
I use a secondary IPS monitor and I think the qled looks much better :)
