For those that after type-c drive instead of Samsung's Type A.
This model has slower speed and fatter, but it works with macbook, android phones, etc.

  Get yourself a samsung with usb 3.1 type A for less and a USB C OTG cable - this one has terrible performance.

    Not sure what product OP is referring to with "Samsung's Type A" connector. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/430988 comes with a type C to C cable included in the box.

  Crazy the 256GB USB thumbsticks are still this expensive. Considering na external 2.5" HDD case is not really that much bigger and with the price of a SSD to put in it, surely these things don't have much longevity, value wise?
