    • Hmm.. pity.. the prices are pretty enticing hehe

      Thanks issh :)

  • If you are a student, or have a friend who is a student get a cd key cheap here: http://www.microsoft.com/student/discounts/itsnotcheating/de…

    • That link has windows 7 professional for $119, this link has it for $49.95.

      • oh yes, i forgot about that one. im going to go update the wiki

  • Windows 7 pro ends up being $19 without download or usb, wow wish it was genuine

  • Well the site allows you to pay by PayPal, so maybe worth a shot?

Could be a temporary MSDN microsoft key, you register it, and dont find out it expired for 90days, by then you cant claim on paypal. Reading the paypal rules yesterday, i think its 1 week for cd keys

      • That is a good point and also clever exploit by the Seller.
There is no way to check if key is MSDN or not AFAIK!

        • really what ms needs is a list of licensed sellers, so that people know what is a scam, and what isn't.

OR they need to start all MSDN/temporary license keys with MSDN or TEMP so that people are aware they're not full licenses.

        • Microsoft doesn't discount… so that makes it easy to work out who is legit.

        • kinda disagree there llama. "microsft starting uni" link (in wiki) is 1/3 of the price of RRP.

Site licenses for corporations, or family licenses are cheap, and people may want to see on their spare keys.

MSDN users frequently get discounts on MS products.

        • Yes, but those offers come from MICROSOFT. Microsoft has various licence options (families, students, etc)… but they don't give discounts to online resellers so that they can undercut the normal (traditional) sales channels.

        • also Chinese retail channel is quite cheap as would be( I assume) other developing/emerging/developed countries like Russia, India and Brazil. I have heard of cheap as chips 3 user Home premium keys for $100 in some of these places!

  • This guy is selling the Ultimate version both 32 and 64bit on ebay for $169.95

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MICROSOFT-WINDOWS-7-ULTIMATE-BRAND-NE…

Has got 100% positive feedback from 98 buyers

Would these be the ones from MSDN users?

    • if that's his video in the description

There is uTorrent, although this may not mean that he illegally downloaded it, BUT it is a big possibility

      • I've emailed a few of the buyers for clarification on whether the product received is legitimate or a copy. Will post back if any of them responds back to me

I've emailed a few of the buyers for clarification on whether the product received is legitimate or a copy.

          honestly no use,

MOST non-genuine sellers will market their product as GENUINE, even if it is fake

        • Well I got 2 buyers(Not seller) response and both have feedback above 100.

Both claimed they were definately legitimate.

But so far only 1 has further responded saying that it was in retail packaging, not printed off from the personal printer and even had authenticity certificate included. He has activated it on the internet without any issues.

I'll wait for the other responses and if all good, I'll probably buy one to try it out :p

EDIT: Got another 2 responses with the same feedback. So it looks legit

mediam0de, if you are looking for a Windows 7 Upgrade key, I'm willing to sell you mine for $48

I bought it some time ago when this deal was posted, but it is still unused because I thought I would be building a new PC. But what I actually needed was an OEM license and not an upgrade as I don't have a previous windows version to upgrade from. I've scrapped the idea of building a new PC altogether.

Its Windows 7 Professional X64 upgrade — if you're interested in an upgrade edition and not a full version, send me a PM.

        • Appreciate the offer scrimshaw :)

Unfortunately I need the full version. Will probably get the ebay one since I'm getting positive responses from the buyers.

        • The upgrade depending which one doesnt actually require anything to be used, ie its like a normal full version of Windows 7

        • I'm pretty sure the upgrade edition works like a retail edition as long as the iso/cd is loaded outside windows. Not sure what else is different between OEM full version and upgrade version besides the need for an pre-existing OS for upgrade pathways.
