Recommend a Good Suitcase

Hey guys

I am in need of a decent suitcase for my upcoming trip

Requirements
- Hardcase
- Large in size 70cm and up ( preferably 80cm)
- Budget under $200

I have looked at the Antler Juno 2 as my best bet

Any other recommendations would be appreciated

I had a flylite bag which broke after 30 trips. ( hardcase )

Crumpler Vis-A-Vis. A little bit out of your price range but after using this bag for five years I wouldn't recommend anything else. Wheels roll in all directions not just back and forward, inbuilt TSA lock, storage compartments with compression straps to help squeeze every inch of space. https://www.crumpler.com/au/vis-a-vis-trunk-78cm-matte/

By a little bit out of OP's price range you mean more than double the price they're willing to pay

Have just purchased the Antler Juno to replace another suitcase (different brand) that was destroyed during a recent flight.

I haven't had much use out of the Juno yet (just two flights), but have used other Antler products previously and have found them to be very good value.

I recently bought the Antler Global for my 3.5 week trip to Europe, it held up very well with minimal scratches/marks considering how many interconnecting flights we took.

Bonus it's polycarbonate (one strongest of the suitcase materials besides ABS) & expandable which was very useful after doing some shopping while on the trip.

We got a few of these.

10 year warrant, whether that is of any value with the exclusions they put on luggage.

Best feature is the ability to expand. Done a few overseas trips with no problems.

    • Agreed. Mine is scuffed after two years and multiple trips but no other problems.

    • Looks good. Bit heavy though. 4.6kg.
