  • Anyone know of common sale price on this?

    • Bunnings have it normal price for $149.

      Could be different quality.

  • And only the black and white are $149, rest are $199

  • Price match at bcf ? https://www.bcf.com.au/p/oztrail-deluxe-gazebo-3x3m/135804.h…
    Although looks a lil different.

"Great deal, never seen it this cheap."

Of course, but you're speaking in past tents.

      Your jokes are criminal, dad

    • Too bad Xmas is over, these would have made great Present Tents.
Shelter us from the bad humour.

Highly rate the 4WD supacentre gazebo as an alternative. Always on special sub-$100, cheapest I’ve seen it is $89 if you’re not in a hurry and keep an eye on the emails.

Really good quality gazebo frame and cover, and easily withstood 4 days of Phillip Island winds when we took it down for MotoGP

Good product, also available through their eBay store which can work out cheaper using the various codes. For example should be 5% off using PUSH5. I picked up a blue one at this price and used an eBay 10% off before Xmas (they have been this price for a little while).

    • Yeah same. Bought mine in November for the same price plus 10% off from eBay sale.
      This price is nothing spectacular…

  • I'm wary of anything that's not the oztrail deluxe gazebo. The elbows are reinforced. I'm comparing to other brands though I'm not sure about the regular Oztrails.

  • Aldi has a 3x3 for $69. I got one very happy with it. All the corner interface elbows are metal.

    • Yours still standing? Ours lasted 1 day then shower of rain and the leg collapsed and ripped the metal. Would have been maybe two buckets of water on it. Yet the oztrail lasted a few storms till I putted it down.

      • I think the aldi/bcf/supercheap basic ones are okay. But if it rains you either have to have it setup absolutle perfectly to prevent pooling or drop the roof off onto the ground and the mid points so it can't pool. Unfortunately this means you lose the rain cover - i dont see a big problem in overnight rain. Realistically I dont think any of them go well in a real storm.

Ive had one for almost 6 years, still as sturdy as the day we bought it. the cover itself is still in great condition. protective tape over the stitching on the inside is starting to peel off. but it doeskin make a difference to it usability.
Bag is starting to get a few holes in the corner. But still worth every penny.

Can it be used as an alfresco permanently setup in the backyard?

    • I wouldnt really recommend that, but for $150 bucks, Bang for your buck.

    • In big winds you really need to peg it down with guy ropes. walking around guy ropes all the time could be a bit annoying.

    • If you remove "permanently" from that sentence you will be fine.
ie. if you don't move it the wind will.

  • My experience with tent world sales isn't great. They always seem to have low, or no stock - a bit like SCA. Get you in the door so you'll buy other crap.
If you go in, be prepared for 1 item left in yellow.

    • Hi Zandz, this is interesting feedback & I'm very sorry to hear that this has been your experience in our stores.

Which store of ours do you usually visit? Our store list can be found here: https://www.tentworld.com.au/camping-stores/

Our model is very different to SCA where they predominantly sell home brand, and range only what branded gear they must. We by contrast sell virtually no home brand, and stock a huge selection of any type of product.

To hear you've been repeatedly disappointed after receiving promotional material to only find it unavailable disturbs me greatly. I would appreciate knowing which store and what items you've gone looking for you to then wind up leaving empty handed. With this info I'll go off and investigate and try to understand how we've let you down multiple times and hopefully work out how to stop it. Definitely not our intention to ever sell out of any promotional item.

      Many thanks, Kind Regards,

      Jon
