Mars M&M’s Fruit and Nut Chocolate 155g $0.50 (Was $4.80) @ BIG W (in Store, Selected Stores Only)

820

Spotted this bargain today in my local Big W at Springfield Orion (QLD). A great buy if you are in to mixing your m&m’s with fruit and nuts. Surely the sultana content makes it a healthy choice as part of your New Years resolution to eat more fruit. Use by date was May 19.

Unsure if it’s in all stores, but it’s discounted online too (although only by 25%)

Regular price at $4.80 for chocolate made in China is overkilling.

      Made in China

  • $2.90 at local Woolies…. With a $1.90 saving.

    Didn't look very appealing though.

  • Wow …so sad too bad Mr Mars.

  • They are delicious….

    M&M chocolate is so stupid.
What’s next? A flake chocolate block?

  • I gotta say. It tastes similar to the Nestle smarties chocolate bar and the like, which is very addicting (but also disgusted with yourself after you've eaten a whole block). This isn't quite up there, but still ok tasting.

However I won't be buying it.

If you are avoiding this due to the presence of fruit don't worry! There is hardly any you can barely taste them. I didn't mind it for a basic sugary treat.

    • Agreed, hardly a trace of fruit and I've yet to spot anything resembling a nut.

Wouldn't touch any sort of food made, produced or grown in China! Great deal for those who aren't bothered though.

I checked 2 store in Sydney they were at $3.50 so definitely not nationwide

A true Ozbargainer would have gone to the effort of scanning it through a register it would have been 50c

      • +4

Sorry for the down votes. Scanned at Geelong; $3.00 (as marked).

  • Sadly doesn’t appear to be nationwide pricing.
They’re discounted at Whitford City, but are $1.50 each.

      Did you scan it?

      • I did not. I should have.
They were in a discount bin with new stickers on them, marked at $1.50.
