Whirlpool Alternative? (Without Regulation)

Whirlpool forums are completely over-moderated and I am looking for an alternative to discuss anything without regulation.

  • I havent had too much problems with WP. Ive been temp banned and whatever but I feel like they give you heaps of leeway.

So I mean for OP I feel like they wanna behave like a*holes but they dont want to be called out on it… I mean… where does this paradise exist???

not even OZbb is immune to mods…

  • Hello everyone, i am new here so be that little bit nice thanks.

I have just posted a comment on Whirlpool Forum about Trump that he has been charged according to what i saw on ABC tv Australia.

Because i had no link the post got hidden.

Not the first time, also they have this silly and i think is very discriminating rubbish called Aura which i find offensive.

Whirlpool the most regulated and the worst and most strict forum in the world.

    Glad to be here.

Aura, never have an opposing view to or question the mainstream posters and yours too could be sky high - it's such a wank. lol

You'd think the people in the Jobs forum were all on $800000 a year driving BMWs the way some of them talk to the new comers in there. I mean if it was that easy to get a job they wouldn't be asking questions in an online forum in the first place.

  • Whirlpool will penalty box or ban you if you say too much positive stuff about a company even if they have given you good service.
Its basically a forum to whinge about everything, did you notice as soon as a company gets acquired or jacks their prices up because they need to to stay in business all the Whingepool / Whirlpool fanboys jump ship and bitch about how hard done by they are. I mean seriously businesses need to make a profit to survive at the end of the day.
They need to spend a few months with the complete nut jobs on totally un-modorated usenet groups and need to build some resilience.
I don't have any other way of wording that seriously some of the usenet contributors are just unhinged.
But it does make for some interesting discussions and you do learn how to interact with some different people.
That said I haven't used the Newsgroups for years as a lot of them got filled with spam as Google allowed contribution through its web interface.
Also a lot of ISPs have got rid of their Usenet servers.
I should point out as well they did have a lot of people from all walks of life in the groups I was in but as it was un modorated you needed to be prepared for anything.
Whingepool is way to over modorated and I also got banned.

  • At least with Ozbargain you can choose to post personally without displaying your rep tag if you want, just thought I would break it out for this thread just because I can.
As for having no rules, I think you need some rules for posting stuff to forums unless you want to end up being grilled by politicians for hours on end or having your company name splashed all over Netflix in a not very good light.
I am thinking of what happened recently with the Tiktock CEO getting dragged into parliamentary hearings in the US over stuff that happened on the platform.

  • Whirlpool is now run by bunch of power hungry moderators. They will ban you whenever they like on the basis of an "off topic" post. If you dare protest they will ban you for longer & if you ask them 30 days later why am I still banned, they will say you have not demonstrated you have learned to behave. What they mean is that you have not begged for forgiveness and apologise. This is extreme bullying behaviour and sooner or later their behaviour may cost someone their mental health or even worse. I am out of there & I wish someone had the power to shut them down for unacceptable social media behaviour (their excuse of being a private forum does not hold water - they are a public forum).
