Infrared? Do you need to keep the remote pointed at it?
Just need to maintain line of sight with the helicopter and you'll be fine, no need to worry about pointing at it exactly.
Removing the L/H/S control stick spring makes these even more controllable. Its a simple mod.
Although these things are tough, they can only cop so much abuse. Tail motors are the first to go and are around $14 for a replacement delivered. Thinking about moving onto a Blade mCX next.

There's 2 freq's per heli out of the box (even though the switch on the controller shows 3 positions).
S107 do not have frequency as option.

ps "net weight 485 g" does the heli really weigh that much? i can see some metal parts, but 485gm is a lot, it's probably the total with remote, i wonder if a cam can be installed…

Mine arrived today. Good value, but a bit disappointed in the packaging - a layer of bubble wrap and then tape. Box was quite squished but heli wasn't damaged.
Mine was shipped on the 21st April and it still hasn't arrived. The tracking service can't seem to find the package using the supplied tracking number either…
Same here. I paid for EMS and the tracking number doesn't seem to be valid. I'm in the middle of a Paypal dispute.. I doubt the package will arrive. It was suppose to arrive in 3-5 days by EMS. It's well over 2 weeks now :(
