Normally about $279+ (RRP $349), this one discounted to $221 with another 20% off, making it about $177. That's half the RRP.

Getting one as the dull sound of my Google Home annoys me. Reviews on the Link 300 are generally favourable, some indicating it sounds better than the Sonos One.

They also have a couple of Link 500's for $311.

  How would the Link 500 or 300 compare to e.g. the Sonos One or Play One? Sonos in a completely different league?

    Reviews imply the Link 300 matches up well to the Sonos One. The Link 500 is comparable in sound, but has much more power. Some say too much, and that it is boomy. I don't need that much power, and the Link 300 is discounted more compared to its RRP.
