Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse $175.20 Delivered @ Shopping Express eBay

41
POOLTIME

Not as cheap as Harvey Norman last year at $166 but cheapest price at the moment.
Gets pretty close to the Harvey Norman price if you stack it with the $5 off deal at $170.20 delivered.

Very expensive for a mouse but a great option for those after a lightweight (80g) wireless mouse with a good optical sensor and 40-60 hour battery life.

  • do they still have the issue where the right and left clicks touch when pressed?

    • +1

I believe later (more recent) batches have resolved this issue.

    • i just got one a week ago and they still touch sometimes. if im holding down right click and then left click, i can feel them touching. this scenario rarely happens for me but it does happen if im playing games with snipers
edit* just tried to replicate it and i have to be pressing the right click very hard for it to happen

      • What is the batch number? From discussions on r/MouseReview I believe this is resolved in batches above ~1845.

        • my S/N: is 1825, that explains it then

@cortex: I would contact Logitech for a replacement under warranty.

            • @luztra: Thanks will look in to it

              • @cortex: @OP it all comes down to grip style if i force them to touch i can replicate it but otherwise it never happens

  • +1

Excuse my ignorance but what makes a mouse worth $175?

    • light weight
      wireless
      best sensor out
      works at high movement speed
      super accurate
      RGB
      long battery life
      3yr warranty
      software support and updates

      • Light weight? I’ve never even seen a mouse that weighed more than 50g! How light does it get?

        • What kinds of mice are you using, made of carbon fiber? Majority of mice are over 50g, even the stock standard Microsoft Optical Mouse is almost double that.

          • @Jasonissm: Maybe I exaggerated with 50g. Just weighed my $10 mouse and it came in a 110g. My point was more that you hardly need to be Schwarzanegger to lift a mouse.

            • @hunters: Well, strength doesn't really have to do with it at all, it's about gaming performance. A lighter mouse is simply more easy to handle and more wieldly than a heavier mouse, reduces fatigue, RSI, etc. It provides a small benefit in games and when there is a light mouse vs a heavy mouse at the same price point, the lighter one should be the pick every time. Supercars don't use carbon fiber because the engines aren't powerful enough, it's because it provides a small increase in performance or even the same thing can be said for running shoes, same thing with mice and people will pay for that. 90% of professional players use lighter mice and it's not a coincidence.

    • It won pro tournament(s).

    • It's a stupidly good wireless mouse.

Logitech can be hit and miss elsewhere, but I don't think I've soon a review that's considered a logitech mouse to be anything less then good.

Their wireless tech tmk is also flawless, with response times that are virtually non existent.

Not quite truly ambidextrous but it looks pretty good. I'll be needing something I can use leftie when my current mouse eventually dies.

FYI, I've had the equivalent of a ~$200 mouse for over three years now and it's never let me down. That's why I'm prepared to pay a bit extra to ensure I get a good quality product which will last a long time.

    • Hey Chazzozz, just wondering what you mean by "Not quite truly ambidextrous"? I've had this mouse for a while and find it awesome to use though I am right handed. Just curious lol.

      • -1

The thumb buttons are only on the left of the mouse. When you use it left-handed you'd either have to change your grip or disable them to prevent accidental clicks. If you want to see truly ambidextrous then check out the Roccat Kiro or Razer Ouroboros . They each have matching buttons on both side, and the Kiro even allows you to blank one or both out entirely to suit handedness.

        • Not sure this applies to this mouse, but is it just me (right handed user) that hates mice that don't replicate the side buttons on both sides, but instead have 2 of the bottoms on the LMB? Finicky as hell to click on bigger mice (my experience specifically being the g402)

        • +1

just letting you know that you can actually remove the thumb buttons on the left side of the mouse and disable them….they also provide you with RIGHT handed side buttons that attach via little magnets that you can attach and use so yes it is ambidextrous

          • @Pokiemanzz: Aha! That'll teach me to scroll down and read the complete description. :)

I'm just too used to seeing mice with a homogeneous shape and being disappointed when the side buttons are permanently suck on one side. The Roccat Kiro I linked above has exactly the same setup: removable plates for each side that allow you to customise button orientation. I've got one and it's my backup for occasional regular use.

  • this is the thing that moves the pointer around the screen right?
    175$ lol
    tell him he's dreaming

    • Wireless gaming mice for yah. To be expected, tmk has an excellent sensor and virtually no response lag due to it being wireless (could be confusing with the 903 though)

This price isn't bad at all based on PC part picker.

      • fair enough.
        was making a joke

        • How dare you expect random people on the internet to get a joke!
