Found this at Harris Scarfe Eastland hidden at the back of the men’s formal wear section. I can’t vouch for the quality, though the ‘classic fit’ style on display seemed fine, albeit a longer fit. $10 for 2 shirts and a tie seems pretty good (even if the shirts aren’t good, $10 for a tie is okay).
The shirts are 65% polyester and 35% cotton.
There were 15”/38cm x 2 packs, 16.5”/42cm x 5 packs and 17”/43cm x 3 packs remaining as of this afternoon.
I went to Debenhams in St Collins Lane for the first time yesterday. The place felt like a cheap version of Myer crossed with Harris Scarfe. I wonder if the stores are related in Australia?
Bought a shirt from there and wearing it now - pretty happy with it for $9 (was $19 and they gave me a $10 gift card for downloading their app).
I think their introduction into the Australian market was initially via a partnership with Harris Scarfe within the last 2-3 years

I would typically agree with you, but ever since wearing some Bossini business shirts that are 50% cotton/50% polyester, my opinion (about polyester) has changed; the shirts feel silky smooth, have decent breathe-ability and despite dozens of washes, are still like new!
