Office Printer

hey guys,

Looking for an decent priced office printer that will take some cheap compatible cartridges. Currently have a hp 2200 which has done the job for quite some time and compatible cartidges were like 50 - 60 bucks each. Looking to get something new of similar if that makes sense. And hell if it can do colour that would be an added bonus but not necessary!

Thanks heaps!

  • You can get a color inkjet Hp 110a from OW for $79 dollars, the inks are about hmmm 18 dollars (All colors, Blue, Pink, Yellow and Black)—a cartridge and lasts me 2-3 months printing in draft everyday for uni lectures.

    • Was hoping to go laserjet not inkjet with the amount of printing we do TScott, cheers for the suggestion tho :D

  • Desperately seeking one now :( our spare has just blown…

  • What about this

Color copying, scanning, printing and black-and-white faxing

  • What about something from Brother in their office range of laser printers? Brother consumables seem to be widely available and cheap.

  • issh bit more than were looking for unfortunately, just after plain printing. But cheers for the suggestion much appreciated.

The brother printers actually were good if it wasn't for the fact of 250 sheet capacity and not 500 :(

    • If it's just printing, then you can get a cheap Xerox for 49 bucks. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/43236 my post has the mono laser for 49 dollars. And I did some research, the replacement toner costs about 70ish dollars.
