LED Lenser SEO7R Headlamp + P3 Torch Combo for $99.90 @ Blackwoods

Headlamp is $123.95 from catch.com.au (cheapest I could find)

Torch is $19.90 from Snowys.

Combined at $99.90 from Blackwoods makes for an okay deal.

Thanks

Get Olight. Tad more expensive but better šŸ˜ Led Lenser isn't as good as it used to be

    • Just purchased two recently. Couldn't agree more!
      Olight M2R Warrior & Olight H2R Nova

    • Show me an Olight that's more expensive for similar spec that an LED lenser?

I really wanted to neg this "deal" which I've never done but according to the voting guidelines that wouldn't be allowed. So I'll just say that this is a rubish product, LED Lenser has to be one of the worst combination of marketing hype, overpriced, underpowered underperforming torches/lights I can think of. ANY light from Olight, Nitecore or a myriad of other brands is half the price and twice as good.

edit: First one I found with similar spec

If you want something small and decent buy one of these (not affiliated with store, just where I looked because I knew it was oz stock)

    And to prove my point…
I have both of these, compare that to the LED Lenser "equivalents"

    • I have a LEDlenser P7 from 2009 when i first got it i was amazed but then a few years later i bought a Jetbeam BC40. The jetbeam cost less and is 4 times brighter. 830 lumens in 2011 was a big number at least i think it was.
Ended up the battery holder broke in the P7 and its unusable now plus the switch is also funky. Worse thing about the P7 is the unregulated driver they could have just a simple nanjg driver in it and made it better.

Plus its not easy to mod because of the shelf design.

  • Well seems like LEDLenser has gone downhill or lots of other companies have surpassed them greatly according to the thread. Happy to take this onboard.

Anyone got a suggestion for a good bright bike light under $100?

    Cheers

    • Cheap? Ample light for a bike? Probably after 'Convoy'.
