  Depends on room location. If available balcony room is towards rear of ship, and the oceanview is near the middle, then obviously there's more movement up and down at the ends of the ship.

It's an okay price, but can be found quite regularly on last minute deals. Not bad for one where it is a fair way in advance.

  Serious-ish answer. If you're prone to motion sickness, then probably. Eg. If you get queezy driving in a car around winding mountains, then you're likely to get a little bit nauseous until you get used to the motion of the ocean.
  
  I've been on three cruises now, and in my experience, the first cruise, I was a bit unwell for about 4 hours on the first day. On my second cruise, I was only sick for about an hour on the first day. My third cruise, not sick at all.
  
  It will only take one cruise to let you know if cruises are "your thing", but I think it's one of the cheapest and best ways to holiday.
