Would it be worth getting the bucket kit.
You need to look at the products in it that you would use and then calculate the price. Keep in mind the product sizes are mini, i.e. goldclass car wash is only 475ml, when it usually sells on its own in 1.9L bottle.

I couldn’t find the clay bar on its own. Do they sell that?
Can't recommend a clay bar and polish high enough. I used the "Mothers" kit which comes with 2x100g bars (a little pricey but given I do it once a year it doesn't matter much). Hot tip - use only half a 100g bar, flatten it out for more surface area and knead it clean as required.
+1 for the Mothers kit - excellent value even at RRP compared to other brands

Get the Meguiars - the Gerni sprayer only adjusts detergent levels (and not spray pattern) - which is critical to getting the foam at the right thickness to stick on and actually do it's job.

mine lasted about 2 years before a small patch of wool came off and it now has a bald spot.
still recommend these since there's less chance you'll scratch your car while washing vs using a sponge.i've found scratchx to be pretty good, too.
had a cop who pulled me over scuff the side of my car with the butt of his Glock pistol. scratches weren't too deep although some parts caught on my fingernail. scratchx did a decent job of minimising the scratch. you can still see it, but only with a bright LED torch.
