Supima Cotton T-Shirt (Crew Neck) for $9.90 (Free Shipping for Order above $60) @ Uniqlo

Uniqlo is having an 'End of Summer Sale' with a great range of deals. Purchased a few of these t-shirts as well as Chino shorts for the same price a while back during the click frenzy sales and haven't been disappointed, a great price for the quality. Would definitely recommend them both.

Chino Shorts also available for $19.90: Link

These are my new go-to plain tee. Much nicer quality than Bonds or Hugo Boss for less $

    • How's the thread thickness ? Quite a few of the shirts I have ATM are semi see through

      • Defiantly not see through and very soft.

      • +13

        Try wearing them dry.

      • I bought a few of these a year ago hoping they would be a nice heavy cotton, but the GSM must not be very high as they were your typical stretchy thin t shirts.

  • +1

They used to sell those with V neck. Not anymore :(

    • +43

Did the world a favour taking out v neck tees

      • +2

Sorry what? V-necks have their place mate.

    • -1

They still have V necks and they’re also on sale. They’re just listed as women’s. The difference will be exactly nothing.

  • great, just after I bought 3 @ 15 haha

    • Same. Lol

    • I did too.
Will return them in store after they get delivered.

I used to have these tees but they did not spark joy so I threw them all away

    • +14

      did you thank them

    • Am I missing another ozBargain reference?

      • +9

It's a Marie Kondo reference, you can watch her series on how to tidy your stuff on Netflix.

    • +1

      Why not donate them?

      • +1

White tees are generally hard to donate. The collar is flimsy because they're cotton or whatever and crumple after a few washes, they turn yellow and they get dirty really easily. Better to use them as rags because charities will just throw them away if they're scuffed.

  • -1

Is this a lower price than they regularly have?

    • The regular price is on the item page

    • normal price is $15

    • They do this sale quite a bit though. For at least a good few weeks in December?

  • +1

Are these available in-store as well for this price?

  • Are these unisex?

    • +5

      I'd like to know too. I hate it when t-shirts aren't vagina-friendly.

    • Comes in women's as well.

    • Do you mean a student discount?

    • No, there's no tits buffer.

  • +2

Dont forget the 5% cashback from cashrewards

  • +2

Best t shirt i've ever tasted, no joke

  • What does 'crew neck' mean?

    • +5

      Round neck
      Not the v type

  • Chino Shorts also available for $19.90: Link(uniqlo.com)

What type of shoe do you normally pair this Chino with?

    • IMO sneakers (eg Converse or vans) go quite well

      • The yeezy on FP works too

      • At it again..

    • Low cut skateboard shoes go well.

    • +4

      Socks and sandals.

    • +2

      No shoes

Have some hoodies down from $49.90 to $19.90 too, although limited sizes in colours that aren't orange.

They changed the quality of these - I have many from 3 years ago and new ones. They have definitely gone down a step in quality - used to love them. Now they are on par with most other cheap tees.

    • Agreed. Can you recommend any other brands with similar price? Not too happy with how quickly my recent uniqlo ones have worn out.

      • You should try out AS Colour. They specialise in essential items and are pretty good quality. They clothing range for tops are much longer than Uniqlo.

      • +2

Have a look at Muji also. Just don't get the shirts that are meant to be worn at home or as an inner shirt. Otherwise it's nipple town.

They have some that are thicker and will not expose the nips - even if you are part of the #freethenipples movement.

        • Both these recommendations have a going rate of $20+ for T-Shirts though? :/
          I miss the old $10-15 HQ Uni T-Shirts :(

          • @JakeyJooJoo: They do go on sale, so you might just need to go and check them out and get them when they're on sale.

The thing I like about Muji is they give you guides as to what size you should get depending on how tall you are.

    • I've heard that they rapidly lose their quality after a few cycles in the wash

      • +1

You heard wrong and I'm not affiliated to Uniqlo btw.

      • I've got many and they are great. They keep their shape and have a nice cut too. Much better than my thin Country Road ones my wife buys me.

      • I bought their entire V-neck range in Japan 4 years ago. Still looks and fits like new.

P.s. For those wondering why I needed the whole range… It worked out to be $4 a t-shirt.

  • damn, looks like green is not even listed anymore?

  • Any idea how their UT printed t shirts compare in size and quality?

  • Are these true to their size or are they smaller than usual?

    • +1

      true to size

  • +1

Good shirts - possibly only ones where my nippies arent on display
