Does anyone actually go to Red Rooster?

I go past many and there's never people there. Yet they seem to open more shops and stay around

    • +1

When I worked there it was much quieter then kfc but we had a decent stream of customers and we ran on a skeleton crew so we where pulling in enough money to suffice.

      • I go occasionally issuance of takeaway
I do see older couple sit enjoy a meal in much quieter environ.

but there are a couple I have seen changed to joint shared with muffin break which is an Excellent idea akin to McCafe

As coffee and dessert is something they always lacked to gain and retain that market.

Red Rooster Wholesome Roast 50% off $19.50 Delivered. $25 minimum delivery

Can you really claim something is $19.50 delivered when you need a minimum order for delivery of $25…?

    • +2

      Technically yes.

      • How so?

        • As that is the total price for it to be delivered, regardless of the minimum delivery fee.

          • @magic8ballgag: Lol how on earth does that make sense? You can’t get it for $19.50 delivered. You can’t even get it for $19.50 pickup, so the original title was wrong (which the mods have now updated).

            • @Nousernamehere:

You can’t get it for $19.50 delivered.

You can, that is the total price for the meal/deal delivered, you just have to spend a minimum to take advantage of that pricing.

              • @magic8ballgag:

You can, that is the total price for the meal/deal delivered

No, you can’t. It’s $19.50, but it’s not $19.50 delivered as you need to buy extra things to get it to the minimum of $25 for delivery.

That’s the same as a company advertising something as $5 delivered but minimum delivery order is $100.

Not quite, but nice exaggeration either way.

  • Does anyone actually pay these normal prices, what a joke!
What I should say is, they should just charge normal price and then a flat delivery fee on top.

Are you really asking if people pay for convenience?

  • Gravy in gravy out.

So you're telling me this meal is $40 baseline?

Buying a roast chicken from woolies and the other ingredients from store could be made in as little as 15 minutes for less than $20.

    • +1

Doubt it, a Woolies roast chook is now $10.

So you'd have to make the large chips, gravy and 4 corn for $9.50.

      • Not much of a challenge really then.

Does anyone actually pay 40 bucks for a roast chicken meal. That's the problem with Australain business. Think they can rip off the consumer with moronic prices.

    • Does Woolies deliver hot chicken?

  • For me I can get a full chook from red rooster
Wack some veges in the air fryer and whip up a good feed within 15 mins and is reasonably healthy

  • $21.45 at my local store, country WA.

  • Still available at discounted price
